Mama has been feeling very traditional lately! She's been catching up on a lot of shows, but she has noticed that one thing seems to stay the same: this dish! Though they appear fairly simple to make, and some are, a ton of effort usually goes into preparing one of these delicious boxes! Most of them are filled with rice, fish or some kind of meat, and some pickled vegetables!

You can even buy these at convenient stores or department stores in Japan! The best ones, though, are artistically and lovingly crafted by a mother or grandmother at home! Some are even made to resemble popular culture, and that takes talent Mama can appreciate!



So Mama isn't going to let you be late for anime school without one, but before you can rush out with toast, Mama wants to know if you can tell her the name of this scrumptious box! If you can guess correctly, she will send you off with a box of your own, plus two cards for dessert!

Last week, we were looking at Sonic the Hedgehog; those shoe buckles were yellow/gold!

Since I'm hearing a generally positive response on adding the arrow to the game images, I'll be keeping with that in future rounds, though I may leave it off if a round is really self-explanatory (i.e. only one character shown and I'm asking for his eye or hair color).



The Shinsengumi are on a door-to-door manhunt, but their wanted posters are all in black and white! Please help them supply some more details to the citizens so they can fulfill their duties.
