Anniversary Day 17

Day seventeen, so soon! Thank you all so much for your eager participation, and I hope you've been having fun posting! Particular welcomes to all our new players in the Red Ribbon Army - it's great to have you all! If you ever do find yourself with any questions please feel free to PM me or any of the other mods. We want to make [community profile] colors_tcg as easy and welcoming for you as possible. And, of course, good fun!! So on that note let's get to the actual topic, shall we?

Family!

Simple as that, really! Tell me about families in anime, manga or video games that give you a lot of feelings. They don't have to be related by blood to count as family, nor do they have to have grown up together. Just tell us about character relationships based around those platonic familial feelings, and why you enjoy them so much! Though of course straight-up blood related family is fine too!

Then again, perhaps you are one of ~those~ fans. It's okay, don't be shy...! We've all been there. Do you prefer your fictional families doomed and twisted? Does your favourite character have a tendency to stab or get stabbed by their sibling? Does Gendo Ikari's approach to parenting make your heart go doki-doki? Do you SHIP family relationships?!?!?!?!

Let's just keep it clean and fun and respect each others opinions, you guys, hahaha. We're all friends here \o\ For participating today you will receive celebration17! You can also select two choice cards of the same color, but from different decks. So two brown choice cards, two red choice cards, whatever, just so long as they're from two different decks. Have at it, you all!

THIS POST IS NOW CLOSED.

I still think that Son Goku is a better father than many think. Yeah, he was dead for a grand total of eight years, and missing for at least one, but it's the reason why he stayed dead for seven solid years that's important. Up until that point, every villain had been coming to Earth just to kill Goku. Being alive was putting everyone at risk. Finally faced with a villain (Cell) who was almost too much for any of them, he had to seriously rethink things. He almost got his son killed fighting Cell; it ... wasn't the first time. So Goku decided to stay dead and keep the dangers away from everyone else and protect them the only way he could. I just. I have a lot of feelings about Goku and I really, really hope he found his grandpa after he died so he could apologize for killing him, like he wanted to as a kid. /o\

I'd like human19 and hairclips01, please. They're orange!
