I guess most of my friends know I'm really into Suikoden I-III. I can't pick one favorite game out of the series; it's just those three together because they build such a good story. I really like the world and how the focus is more on human conflict while the human v. fate conflict is second. Like, it's definitely there and not forgotten about, but when it comes down to it, most of the conflict comes from the characters having different beliefs/views. And, being a series about war, characters are of course going to die for real, but when they do, it doesn't feel over the top or like it's there just to make the player sad--it's part of the story.
