COLORS CHAT #1

again by the lovely Casey. ALSO THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO GO UP YESTERDAY I'M SORRY.

It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself and ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!

Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. For cards, however, your initial post will need to be six sentences. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.

Today's topic:

How are you feeling about the new and old colors games? Which ones are your new favorites? Do you think there's a game type that's missing?

Please keep all comments civil and polite. You might disagree with someone, but please do not start a flame war. THANK YOU and enjoy your Saturday Sunday!

While I don't want to say I WILL BE TOTALLY COOL IN FIVE MONTHS DON'T WORRY because that...is a difficult kind of thing to anticipate, I can say that because of the way Coloring Book seems to go - there's a big burst of activity at the beginning and then it settles down into something much more sedate and steady over the rest of the week, after most people rush to get their two donations in and then can't do anything more until the round reset - I'll be making a point of posting it when I have time to babysit the tally through that initial rush precisely to avoid anyone having to look through five pages of comments! This does mean there may be times when I wind up posting on Sunday or Tuesday if Monday turns out to be bad (though if this is the case I should be able to give people a heads up the week previous so nobody's caught off-guard by it), but I'd much rather put it up when I know I'm able to deal with it than leave it and come back to chaos.

I did expect it would be high maintenance when I signed on for it, if that assuages worries at all! (I picked up Guess the Color as my second precisely because it's a much easier game to run and I can just put it up and forget it for a week, which I figured would be a very welcome balance for me.)
