Day 10, we're halfway there livin' on a-- /rolls out. Today's topic is clothes!

Some characters wear the same outfit in every episode but others change frequently. Who draws the best clothes? Which character do you think has the best style? Anyone you'd gladly undress just to get their clothes for yourself? Or maybe you've cosplayed as them already, was it hard to recreate their outfits? For answering this question, you'll get two random cards of a color of your choosing and celebration10. Please include the color you'd like your prizes to be in your comment.

Oh man. I'd have to go with the classic Sailor Moon clothes because that's basically my childhood, and I use to be so enthralled with their seifukus, fighting uniforms, and the dresses/outfits they'd be wearing in artwork.

Also, I like a lot of Kaori Yuki's outfits in her comics because they are always so fabulous.

I adore Clamp and Kaori Yuuki styles since they're always so creative and fun! There's also a few Lelouch outfits in Code Geass that I'd kill for. And I adore the Vampire Knight school uniforms beyond words.

I REALLY LIKE CLAMP'S CLOTHES......... but i also really like Anshin'in-san/Ajimu Najimi's casual style in Medaka Box (like the two outfits she's ever worn other than the uniform) (i'm a boring person). STYLE IS.. NOT REALLY MY THING...idk i'm not good at fashion :|a but i do like Belldandy's, from Ah! My Goddess

Honestly, I just love school outfits. The Persona series is some of my favorites. Because there's school outfits, specialty school outfits, and characters in thongs and frankly, I can't think of a better way to party.

i would take all of the ladies clothes from kuroshitsuji, and maybe even some of ciel's if the shirts would fit over my bosom lmao. yana toboso is amazing at designing victorian clothes, and they really appeal to the vague gothloli admiration deep in my heart. :,D in a similar vein i like a lot of clamp's recent (2006ish and later, let's... not talk about their 90's clothes...) designs as well!

Square Enix always has the most ridiculous costume designs (if it doesn't have zippers and belts it's not good enough!!!) but I still like them anyway, haha. FFXII in particular I have a love-hate clothing relationship with because they're so detailed and some are so nice and then some of the others are like wtf who designed this. /coughreddascough

Magical girl costumes in general are always really neat too, I love how adorable they generally are.

I don't pay a whole ton of attention to clothes, but I'm actually really fond of the clothes in Akagami no Shirayukihime, Tena on S-String, and Vampire Game! Stylish/cute but functional outfits are the best.

. . . And yeah I am also a loser who likes the outfits from FF games, yes, that loser is me.

Hm! I'm not too sure about this! I haven't read any Bleach in years but every time I see Tite Kubo's promotional art I think 'gosh, I would wear all of those outfits'. He just designs the loveliest casual wear, I want to shop at the Bleach Fashion Store.

Gosh I would wear Rukia's outfit here, it's absolutely adorable. And auuugh I want Rukia and Orihime's both in this one, IT'S ACTUALLY KIND OF DIFFICULT FOR ME TO NOT OWN THESE :(

I absolutely love the wardrobe from any series created by Arina Tanemura. She draws such a wide variety of clothes, all of which are very creative, even the most simple ones! My favorites would be things worn by Marron Kusakabe from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Haine Otomiya from Shinshi Doumei Cross, as well as Meroko Yui from Full Moon wo Sagashite, though the latter case isn't always... practical.

It's funny that this banner is from Cardcaptor Sakura, because Sakura would be first on my list of characters to raid the closet of. I love that even though she's a magical girl and probably could have eventually used her powers for a transformation, she changes into all of her outfits. And the Tomoyo-Sakura dynamic that has so much to do with clothes is super cute!

I also really enjoy characters that dress up because of a love of fashion, especially if they have an unusual sense of style. Super Gals!, Paradise Kiss, and Kuragehime all have a lot to do with fashionistas and using clothing as a means of personal expression, and I love them all.

I have cosplayed, but it's always been things that either required no sewing or that my friend's mom was willing to make for me (it's one of her hobbies and she likes having projects to keep her busy, so when she offers I gladly take her up it). It's a skill I'd like to have myself (for everyday clothing, too, because plus-size fashion is suffering), but not a top priority.

MAGICAL GIRL CLOTHES *_* I love the sparkles and frills and girly fancy pretty bejewelled outfits that signal it's time to fuck the bad guys shit up. Puella Magi clothes are my favourite because they have a different style tailored to every girl's individual personality as opposed to a rigid uniform a la Sailor Moon style, and I think being able to choose from Knight style/frilly princess style/cowgirl style depending on your tastes is a nice touch that they design very well, I like the amount of thought PMMM puts into it.

When I think of fantastic clothing from anime, the first thing that came to mind was Gankutsuou! The design of the clothing and the colors... simply amazing. The animation techniques really highlighted the class structures reflected in the fabrics. CLAMP's clothing is also very well-drawn, I feel.

Admittedly, I don't pay a lot of attention to clothes except when they really get my attention... And I remember liking the clothes they wear in ParaKiss, so! That would be it. 8D

I used to be really obsessed with Jr.'s trenchcoat from the first Xenosaga game. HIS OTHER OUTFITS ARE NICE TOO, but I really have a thing for trenchcoats and it had a stylish design on it OKAY...

Idk man, I play a lot of JRPGs and their outfits are almost always ridiculous. But man I guess I don't much pay attention to fashion in stuff other than ogling guys in dress clothes, business casual is my favorite, especially flashy yakuza style business casual.

I can't think so much of clothes for myself, so many of the girls I can think of off the top of my head wear skirts that are too short for my liking welp...

Outfits I like : Izaya from Durarara, Byakuran from Reborn, Kilik from Soulcalibur IV, Lei Wulong from Tekken.

Characters I've cosplayed are Sanji, Brook, Trafalgar Law, Zoro in his post timeskip outfit and Ling Yao from FA in his Greed outfit.

Some of the prettiest outfits I've ever seen were CLAMP and Code Geass. Definitely not my style, but absolutely gorgeous to look at.

I'm still in love with the Sailor Moon senshi uniforms. They all differ from each other in noticeable ways while still having that common base. Really, I think I love any kind of uniform that the artist can customize for different characters, to show things about them.

Oh gosh I love the outfit designs in Akagami no Shirayukihime. The characters almost all wear different outfits in every chapter and the level of detail that goes into each one is amazing--it makes them very distinct! Plus they're just really pretty, and something I wouldn't mind wearing in real life. Pretty and practical seems the best to me.

I have cosplayed once in my life, it was Karel from Fire Emblem 7. It was fairly mediocre |D; His robe was the worst part, I couldn't figure out what to do for the fabric and anything that looked similar to it was the wrong color. The bright side was I found the most amazing boots and still have them to this day *A*

I have a soft spot for a lot of Paine's outfits from Final Fantasy X-2. Especially her Lady Luck outfit, guh, make a girl fall in love why don't you ♥

For whatever reason, I tend to like characters wearing suits (Edgeworth, Kristoph, Sir Integra, Arturia/Saber, etc). Though I'm also partial to the futuristic outfits in YGO 5D's. Clamp and Kaori Yuki's styles are always fabulous as well.

Even though people give him a ton of flak for it, I genuinely enjoy Tetsuya Nomura's outfit designs. They're all just so pretty! They do look like they're awful to try and recreate in the real world, though, I'll give them that; I'm dreading the day I choose to try and cosplay from a Final Fantasy series. In any case, I'm really looking forward to Lightning Returns, since Lightning gets over 100 costume choices. I DON'T CARE HOW IMPRACTICAL THEY MIGHT BE FOR SAVING THE WORLD, they will be beautiful and I don't care!!

I've been blown away by the costuming in the Bride's Story manga. Like, in general. Just go look at the cover art for the female lead.

I don't really pay that much attention to characters' clothing (I have an inordinate fondness for Hawaiian shirts, so my fashion sense is, to say the least, suspect). But I have done a couple cosplays, and Kyou from Fruits Basket was a nice simple one. A black T-shirt and cargo pants; that's something I'd actually happily wear around wherever. If we're talking more elaborate outfits, I love Link's classic green tunic, especially the detailed version from Twilight Princess.
