Happy anniversary! Once again it's a chance to talk about my favorite unofficial aspect of Colors, mass decks!

Do you collect any mass decks? Do you collect decks for entries in a series you haven't seen, or just ones you have? Do you collect all characters from a series, or just the ones you like? Do you have any mass decks that aren't for fandoms? (LGBT characters, characters with your name, cats and dogs, etc.) If you don't collect mass decks, what series are you collecting the most decks from?

I love mass decks! I have 40 mass decks right now, plus a few series I'm collecting that I'll move to their own mass deck page once the series has 10 decks (my arbitrary lower bound for a mass deck). Whether I collect parts of a series I haven't seen depends on how much I've picked up via osmosis and just how many decks there are - I'll collect Shin Megami Tensei games I'm not familiar with like Persona 5 X, but when it comes to something like Pokemon, I only collect specific games from it.

I have a mass deck for characters my girlfriend roleplays, and my favorite, a mass deck for characters my OC Evangeline has smooched in roleplay. I hope seeing me collect cards in that category amuses people a little bit! I have definitely first mastered decks that I had no business first mastering, woops...

I'll collect all characters whether I like them or not, I'm a completionist at heart... But I'll definitely deprioritize collecting the ones I don't like, I'll complete their decks eventually just through trades and luck.

I don't have mass decks, it's easier to just stick to high/medium/low for me. If I were to have mass decks, it'd have to be a series where I'd want every character at the same priority, and I think there's been, like, two series I've collected (Mairuma and Surviving Romance) where I considered all decks/characters high priority. As for series I'm collecting (including already mastered) the most from, definitely Mega Man! I've collected a lot of Saint Seiya, Danganronpa, Mario, Kirby and Touhou decks too.

Also, I feel like if a Colors that did western series existed, I would definitely do mass decks. I guess love for the series itself would matter more than love for individual characters? I dunno. There'd definitely still be characters I'd prioritize over others, depending on the series, tho.

ough… i don’t technically have any collection for a mass deck yet (still baby and idk how to get gloomlee’s template to work with it automatically just yet) though i’m always open to dupes of my fave fandoms (considering i’d love to do genshin and elsword)… maybe i’ll end up making a mass deck for ‘blorbos id die for (faves)’ once i learn to do that and maybe ‘characters that inspired my oc’ (which reminds me i need to complete their fake deck)

Mass decks seem nice. I use neotcg and I have no idea how to make them there (even if I ever move to php i don't think I'd be able to figure that out because I'm already not understanding what I should be doing there to begin with). Don't know if I ever would do them. I'd probably have one for identity v and the project moon games since that's what I like the most.

kinda just got here but i plan on collecting all hypnosis mic characters as its my main interest right now (im crazy aaaaah), and i plan on mass-decking other series that im into on here, so that'll keep me busy for the next little while ^^

i also don't technically have mass decks because i never bothered to learn how they actually work... the little badges people make for theirs are cute though

when i started collecting kuroshitsuji decks i thought i'd only do my favorite characters... but i tripped and fell and mastered everyone from the series i guess... i'm even thinking of donating a deck of a character i dislike with a passion just so i can have more kuroshitsuji decks to collect. it's that serious. right now my priority is cookie run since there's a lot of characters, some of which don't have decks yet, so hopefully i won't run out anytime soon lol

i collect some decks for series i haven't seen, namely my fandoms in law (stuff my friends like so by proxy i like them too), series i'm vaguely familiar with but i'm not in the fandom, and some things that i've been meaning to see. the "single cards" section on my keeping page kinda functions as a bookmark for this exact reason. picture below is me irl.

Mass decks are great! If I'm collecting for mass decks, I usually collect everyone from that series. The only exception to that rule is Pokemon where I no longer collect the majority of anime exclusive human characters. I haven't watched the anime since the Hoenn Ash stuff, so I just don't care/have nostalgia about them. I don't really collect decks from series I'm not into, but I have discovered series from colors and then started collecting them.

I am quite indiscriminate with mass decks and just collect all decks for a series that I have experienced in some minor way … like I read the 3-volume .hack manga many years ago and that is my only exposure to the canon, but I'll collect all the characters because why not.

All my mass decks are related to series but I sometimes think about branching out a bit … a green hair mass deck has occurred to me once or twice. Maybe a wee one for guys who bear a passing resemblance to the blorbo would be nice.

i do! currently i'm collecting mass decks for osomatsu-san, tiger & bunny, lucky star, transfem characters, dogs, and characters named lizzie/elizabeth/liz. and i'll grab random pink decks whenever i feel like it too. for the series' mass decks, there's some characters i'm pretty apathetic to, but if i leave them out it'll bug me LOL. for the non-fandom decks, i pick up characters that i don't personally know as long as i know they fit in said category. transfem characters can be a little tricky sometimes because i'm trying not to let headcanons sway me (even though they are totally women to me) because i'm probably collecting their deck anyways (examples: chihiro fujisaki [ignores canon for my own benefit], hermes ffxiv [theres something to say about hermes creating his empath in the image of a girl], ghiaccio jjba [complete delusion territory but i dont car])

I don't have mass deck pages but I do have some mass decks! As far as I'm aware I have every Obey Me! deck available, and I'm working on A3!, Twisted Wonderland, Cookie Run and Arknights. I'm debating on if I want to massdeck Honkai: Star Rail when Amphoreus is what I care most about, and I also am grabbing every Pretty Cure I recognize despite not having seen them all yet. I also collect for Identity V despite not having played in AGES.

I also collect characters for things I want to watch/play but haven't, characters or important relationships I have in roleplay (be it my own or my friends') and sometimes I just see a cutie and I'm like mine now. I did recently clear out some decks I'd been collecting but am no longer interested in as well.

I like mass decks! I want to make a better page for them on my TCG page, lol. It's not official but I am trying to collect every Dr. Stone deck on here... and maybe Evangelion eventually. I don't have any themed mass decks personally (other than series, I mean) but I do like the idea of that a lot!

I like the idea of mass decks and deck collections with fun themes! I have all sorts of secret things I want to collect that aren't centered around a specific series (Like Alice in Wonderland themed character decks! And oh just wait until I have a whole section devoted to fat characters. In the mean time I've been hiding little blurbs about my masteries in my site and having fun with it, and I recently made a little guy parade of keep cards...which isn't a mass deck but it feels spiritually similar in a way I can't explain, haha!

Anyone who knows me know that I'm incredibly brain-rotted towards the cookie run series. I really appreciate how diverse the cast is and the different cultures that it represents, so it's really fun to collect the decks for it. I go by series and wish to collect for Final Fantasy, Love Live, Zelda, and Tales of too!! They're my big favorites, but I know that THAT'S going to take forever.

please view the very important meme my wife made on the topic - but i do mass deck! i am kind of a completionist and need to do EVERYONE from a series once i have done one person, but i work on mass decks in priority. i think i will finish my tales mass deck this month! or early next month! enstars is also winding down which has been a Trial...my other high-priority ones that are ongoing and going to take longer are genshin impact & danganronpa among others. anyway i will collect everyone even though i drag my feet on people i don't want to fm lmfao...in terms of not for fandoms i will collect ANY and EVERY cat, but i don't have like a mass deck page for that? i sort my masteries by series & there's a misc at the end for canons with only 1 mastery (or...1 deck, in terms of some of them) and things get moved up as i master or imminently am going to master others. a few things are blank because i have like 1 more round of masteries to get through after my current portfolio and then there will be decks under them...

yes! i'm collecting mass decks for many of my favorite series: Heaven Official's Blessing, Mo Dao Zu Shi, The Apothecary Diaries, and others. however, some of the larger franchises, like Psycho Pass, have many seasons that I didn't watch or many characters that i don't really care about, so for those i only collect favorites.

i also am loosely collecting decks for characters with cute animal characters or "silly lil guys." i just finished the Microbes special deck just because i thought they looked cute and goofy. in the future, i'd also like to have a mass deck featuring decks that no one has mastered yet!

No mass decks, buuut I do usually collect all characters from the series I enjoy. I've donated most of the decks for the Trails series there are around, so I'm probably also collecting the most from there. But I also have a lot of Genshin, Honkai Star Rail and such!

I don't really collect any mass decks. If I were to collect mass decks, I'd probably go for a theme instead of series, but I can't even decide on that. I just collect characters that I like and/or I think look pretty. Right now, I'm collecting RWBY characters. I also have a lot of Honkai Impact 3rd characters on my ISO list~

I think everything I'm collecting that isn't a few specials is part of a mass deck, haha. Currently, I like to choose series that I have experienced though I admittedly haven't played every FF or Silent Hill game (yet). I can see myself making mass decks later down the line that are dedicated to cute mascot characters, like John from The Vampire Dies In No Time.

I love mass decks! love showing my love off for certain series or genres. But also its just fun to do so to me. . . Sometimes i like to do silly mass decks like all the characters i have or actively crush on lol.
I mostly only collect series that im pretty passionate about , butttt once ive amassed a noteworthy amount of cards for a series i dont reallyy care about (cough. gintama - but i intend to remedy that) i still keep it going :-)
The series thats my main focus rn is Castlevania! its been a special interest of mine for years now and im so close to getting them all for now as opposed to jojo's bizarre adventure. . .

I have a lot of mass decks. I try to keep it to the series I really like, but sometime one or two characters I like is enough to start one. Like Hololive, I only watch like 3 or 4 of them and I'm collecting all of them xD. I have a danmei mass deck for some of the ones I've read.

I love mass decks! I'm bad at keeping my page updated, but I did a biiiiig overhaul just now and made some new banners. I'm finally putting together a yume/favs of all time category, but it's WIP. My favorite mass categories are the silly ones for me and my friends. I love to collect the blorbo-in-laws for them. <3

I really enjoy mass decks! But with the way I have them set up it ends up being slightly tedious to keep up with them, so I manage them for only my biggest fandoms (Arknights) or fandoms only I care about (Blue Archive). They sort of have diminishing returns that way for me. I might be the only one who thinks that way though...

I do have one that isn't for a "fandom" -- it's for the forum roleplaying game I do with my non-Colors, non-Dreamwidth friends. And it'll never be "complete" because some people play Western characters or OCs, but it's fun; it makes them feel included.
