Seiyuu Guess 749
Last week's answer was Heizou Hasegawa from Onihei, voiced by Kenyuu Horiuchi!

Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.

It's that time again: March Madness is upon us! My brackets are set (mostly - I've got Miami of Ohio in my men's Final Four because I'm both capital-D Delusional and very unserious, but if they lose their play-in game I'll adjust that, no offense SMU 😂), but let's move away from college ball and instead focus on the triumphs and defeats, the epic highs and lows of high school basketball. For the last three years, Teiko Middle School has absolutely crushed the competition, thanks in no small part to its five star players, prodigies collectively known as the Generation of Miracles. But there's a phantom sixth player who's flown under everyone's radar: this guy. His strength lies in his complete lack of presence (he's so invisible you probably opened this post and said, "Where's the pic??"); he's able to float around the court, undetected by his opponents as he makes sharp, quick passes. When the Teiko crew graduates, they all end up at different high schools, making it a presumed five-way race for national champs. But don't count out Seirin High. They're a brand new school with a small team and a student for a coach, but with the combined talents of the hotheaded Taiga Kagami and our boy here, they just might sneak their way to the top. Let's hear the clip...
"Just how strong is the Generation of Miracles? If I played them now, how would I do?"
"You'd be destroyed instantly."
"Do you have to put it like that?!"
"The five prodigies have each gone on to play for their own schools. One of those schools will stand at the top."
"Haha! That's great. That's the kind of thing that lights a fire in me. I've decided. I'll crush all of them and become Japan's best player."
"...I don't think that's possible."
"Hey!"
"If you have hidden talent, I wouldn't know. But from what I've seen, you wouldn't even reach their feet. You can't do it alone. ...I've also decided."
"Hm?"
"I'm a shadow. But the stronger the light, the darker the shadow, and the more it accentuates the brightness of the light. I will be the shadow to your light and make you the best player in Japan."
"...Heh. Look who's talking. Do whatever you want."
"I'll do my best."
Tell Shizuka the character's name, their seiyuu, and what series they're from for fifteen random cards!
This round ends Monday, March 23, 2026.
