Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
This week we're traveling back in time to Japan's Edo period. While this is an era characterized by its peace and stability on a national level, that doesn't mean people weren't getting up to some funny business on a local level--a fact this man knows all too well. He's the chief of Edo's Arson and Theft Department, a job that puts him face-to-face with all manner of petty thieves and ruthless criminals. Among them he's earned the demonic nickname "Onihei" due to his brutal treatment of those he arrests. In reality, he's a fair and compassionate man who inspires intense loyalty, especially among former thieves like Kumehachi and Omasa, who now work for him as spies. Let's hear the clip...
"You've changed. Your last attack had more weight than this. As if you put all your life into it. I don't sense that from you anymore. Do you now have a reason to live? What's the matter? Do you fear death?"
