Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
This week we have what appears to be an older brother and younger sister, but looks can be deceiving. They're what's known as a fratello, but their "sibling" relationship isn't one of blood. They belong to the Social Welfare Agency, an Italian organization that ostensibly nurses grievously ill and injured young girls back to health. In reality, the girls are given cybernetic enhancements, firearms training, and a few rounds of brainwashing (ahem, "conditioning") for good measure. Then they're put to work as assassins, with their "brother" as their handler. Unlike most of his colleagues, this man treats this girl with actual, almost familial, affection, but her extreme loyalty to him begins to affect her focus on the job. Let's hear the clip...
"Welcome. Come on over."
"...Is that a telescope?"
"Isn't she a beauty? I wanted to show you the stars sometime, but not with a rifle scope."
"This is the first time I've ever seen the stars. What brought this on?"
"Well... This is the perfect night for stargazing. It's your reward for today's job."
"You're not angry about today?"
"Do you want me to be? Come over here. You can see Orion clearly. Orion the Hunter was mistakenly shot and killed by his lover, Artemis. The grief-stricken goddess had him added to the constellations so she could see him whenever she soared through the night sky. Such a sad story..."
"[Character name]."
"Hm?"
"You know everything, don't you?"
"I sure do."
