Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
It's that time again - the Seiyuu Guess last year retrospective! Each January we take a look back at shows from the previous year. Let's check out some great series and seiyuu from 2025!
When this kid goes missing while on a trek up the mountains one January, his friend Yoshiki Tsujinaka goes to look for him. He's finally found a week later, seemingly no worse for wear, but Yoshiki immediately senses that something is...off. It's not until the following summer that he turns to his "friend" and asks, "You're not him, are you?" Yoshiki's suspicions are confirmed when his friend's face melts into an eldritch abomination right before his eyes. The thing wearing his friend's body begs Yoshiki not to tell anyone; he's enjoyed their time together and doesn't want to have to kill him. Realizing his actual friend is dead but not ready to let him go, Yoshiki agrees to keep the creature's secret. Let's hear the clip...
"Is it my fault?"
"Is what?"
"I mean, you're clearly in a bad mood. What is it? Are you pissed off at me?"
"I ain't pissed off."
"You're definitely pissed off. What's your deal lately? You hiding something from me?"
"Huh? What's with the interrogation? Go away, creep."
"Okay, what were you doin' in town last weekend? And why were you secretly messaging some stranger?"
"H-How do you... Why should I have to tell you anyway?"
"You used to tell me everything!"
"Used to! You say that like it was you before."
"...That's what this is about? You're mad because...I ain't the real [character name]? So, am I not good enough for you? Hey..."
"That should be obvious. You... Your voice, your face, even the way you talk is just like [character name]. But you're not [character name]!"
"Sorry. You're right. It's true. Can't argue with ya."
Ow...
"But I need you, Yoshiki. Can't function without you."
(Get outta here.)
"'Cause you're..."
(Really, I don't need you anymore.)
"...my first..."
(You're nothing but a fake. You're a fake. You're a fake... You're a fake!)
"...Don't know anymore. I don't know which emotions are mine anymore!"

"Wouldn't matter even if I did. I can't stop myself from liking you!"
