Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
It's that time again - the Seiyuu Guess last year retrospective! Each January we take a look back at shows from the previous year. Let's check out some great series and seiyuu from 2025!
On a certain street in Minato, two schools whose reputations precede them sit side by side: Kikyo Girls' Private Academy and Chidori Public High School. While Kikyo is noteworthy for its selective admissions and focus on academics, Chidori is notorious for enrolling only delinquents, ne'er-do-wells, and the idiots who couldn't pass any other school's entrance exam. Both schools' students are keenly aware of their differences, so despite their close physical proximity, they give each other a wide berth. Never the twain shall meet...until now. This Kikyo girl becomes acquainted with this Chidori boy after frequenting his family's bakery. As their friendship grows, can they convince their classmates to give their neighbors a chance? "Y-Yeah..."
"Oh, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the discount day, especially after you went out of your way to invite me."
"Oh, no worries at all. We do it every month anyway."
"Hopefully I can make it next month. I've got to save up enough from my part-time job before then."
"You're rich, but you still work part-time?!"
"Haha! What kind of impression do you have of me? My family isn't actually rich. I got into Kikyo on a scholarship. That's why I can't let my grades slip. I've actually been top of my class for a while now."
"Top of your class?! That's amazing."
"Though recently, all the studying's been cutting into my sleep. I've been pinching my hand during class so I don't nod off..."
"That's seriously impressive."
"I managed to get into Kikyo despite coming from a regular family. That's why I try to push myself harder than everyone else."
"Why would you go so far?"
"I begged my father to let me attend Kikyo. That's why I don't want to do anything to let him down. When I started at Kikyo, something began to grow inside me: a newfound pride."
The more time I spend with [character name], the more I realize how I've been looking at her through tinted glasses. When did I become someone who treats others the way I hate being treated? I hate myself for it.
