Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
It's that time again - the Seiyuu Guess last year retrospective! Each January we take a look back at shows from the previous year. Let's check out some great series and seiyuu from 2025!
This woman's only been working in the anime biz for a few years, but she's already made a name for herself as a virtuoso. Her first directing gig, Sukeban Magical Girl Dark Academy (latest example of "fake shows we wish were real"), was a surprise smash, so her studio president offers her the chance to helm her own feature film, a rom-com called Hatsukoi: First Love. Unfortunately, her own experience with love is nonexistent, so writer's block has hit her hard. She's so distracted by her billionth failed attempt at storyboarding that she doesn't notice the rather funky-looking clams in her lunch. After passing out at her desk, apparently dead from food poisoning, she wakes up in the world of her favorite anime, A Tale of Perishing. From that title you can probably guess that this isn't the most cheerful movie ever made (very Windaria vibes and man, IYKYK), but, superfan that she is, she knows exactly how the plot plays out. With her magic peg bar in hand, she tries to prevent Luke Braveheart and his fellow Nine Soldiers from succumbing to their original fates. Let's hear the clip...
Wait, the mayor? The Last Town?

The song "Feast" starts here. The background characters start dancing. A child trips, and doves take to the sky. They fly past the Soul Future. The Soul Future? Wait, is this...A Tale of Perishing? "Luke Braveheart. Are you really, actually Luke Braveheart?"
"And what if I am?"
"No way! Wait, is this what they call being reborn in another world? No, this isn't technically an isekai. So what kind of rebirth is it? Hold up. Was I actually reborn? But why? Doesn't that usually only happen to shut-ins and NEETs? I actually had a career, and my company provided full benefits. I've lived a normal, proper life up till now. I didn't do anything wrong. I didn't do anything bad."
"Hey, black-haired gremlin! This is our party! Butt out!"
"Oh! Hold on."
"What?"
If this is the world of A Tale of Perishing... They defeat that giant bug-like Void earlier, and after the scene where the crowd celebrates, doesn't a whole army of Voids show up and attack the town?
