Welcome to the COLORS TCG SUMMER READING PROGRAM! 


Today we're talking about some of our favorite Colors viable things to read: Manga, light novels, visual novels, text-heavy games and the like! For sharing some of your favorite reads you may take cher15hed18 and three choice character cards.

But wait! There's more! Because what's summer reading if you don't actually read something new? Take some time to look through the recommendations offered by your fellow players and try them out. Maybe you sample the start of a free visual novel or read the first chapter of a manga. Reply to the recommender with your thoughts on what you sampled and you may take another choice character card! So I've been meaning to reread the Magical Girl Raising Project light novels soon, because eventually (I have no idea when) it's getting a season two anime adaptation that will focus on the second arc. The ladies (and one dude) from Pick a Color are from the first arc.

It's pretty edgy, like, the first arc is a death battle between magical girls kinda edgy. But I really like it, I love the characters and my favourite thing about it are the powers. It reminds me of JJBA or Touhou, because every character has a different ability and some of them are way out there. There are some really creative fights because of that. There's mystery elements too, especially in the second arc, in regard to who's the mastermind/traitor of an incident, or the real identity of someone, stuff like that.

There are different arcs that focus on different groups, but there are returning characters and the world, especially the politics of the Land of Magic, get more fleshed out the further into the series you get. There are a lot of characters to love... even if it's pretty likely they're gonna die. But yeah, I love large casts, series with weird powers and cool fights and edgy shit so I adore this series lol
