As a fic writer and RPer, I have a lot of headcanons that have come up, but I guess my favorite is Dr. Roman from FGO being practicing Jewish? If you know you know, but it's never actually stated that he is practicing, so technically it's a headcanon.

You ever get asked a question and then your mind just goes BLANK...anyway, I have a lot of headcanons but I think they're probably always on the smaller side...? Like whether characters can handle spicy food or not if it happens to be not stated. As to favorite headcanons, that's a little harder for me (again, mind blank) but I do think for series where certain characters SHOULD interact but just do not or it's offscreen, I like to think that they actually talk like they Should Do (as per Emmy) even though we aren't given that...like in Ensemble Stars (SIGH) there's a lot of clubs and circles that don't have as much done with them as they could!!

ichika's flannel being her comfort item was my first project sekai headcanon like 3 years ago and is still my biggest one. miku was her first comfort voice, yakisoba buns are a longtime comfort food, she listens to instrumental music and wraps up in her flannel when overwhelmed to calm herself, talks to her cacti bc she believes it's good for them and to get her stress out without worrying her friends.. started buying candles after getting to make her own and learning that different scents are said to help certain emotions and such, plus certain scents remind her of her friend's presence to comfort her. has a little crush on kanade, finding inspiration and, again, comfort in kanade's music.. i could go on i'm sure

I've got a huge list of headcanons I made for.. Fyodor, I'm sorta shy to share some of it.. I will say that I imagine him to have a HUUUGE sweet tooth. It's canon he enjoys going to cafes for tea in his free time, or using it as a tactic, so I think he buys out.. the bakery sweets they have available and tries them all. It's cute for someone so intimidating as Fyodor to just love sweets and cakes and whatnot.

I guess, for Alpha and Lucia in PGR, they're favorite gifts are frog charms, and I've given both of them hundreds of frog charms. My head cannon is that Lucia, who has a room on a space station, has her room full of frog charms and its why you never visit it, because there's no space for you to stand. For Alpha, my head cannon is that her motorcycle and her mechanical pet as well as any space in her construct is stuffed full of frog charms.

Miorine strikes me as the kind of person who takes really long baths! She works hard and has a lot of stressors after all, so she needs a free way to get people to leave her alone for a while... To me she's the kind who likes a good bubble bath and gets embarrassed about it lol. ~~And once they're together Suletta joins her of course... Both in an 👀 way and a sweet way.~~

One of my huge number of FFX headcanons: as Auron doesn't join the party in the game until Luca, and we don't see him visiting either of the tropical-looking islands, I've decided he dislikes hot weather and probably prefers cold weather. Meanwhile, Braska takes one look at Besaid village and starts talking about how great it is, so it seems like he on the other hand likes hot weather, and maybe dislikes cold weather (making their tragic ~~relationship~~ pilgrimage even more tragic because they can't coexist in the same climate). Jecht probably likes both because he doesn't seem to have any problems with walking around barefoot all over the place.

since i'm a fan of a series where the main focus is the characters going about their idol journey, i've always enjoyed thinking about what they'd do past their idol careers. because as much as it's sad to think about it, there will likely come a point when knights have to retire from being full-time idols because age and whatnot. but! the great thing about them is that i think they've established such great niches outside being idols that i think they'd do well regardless.

so, post-idol career tsukasa. (of course i'm thinking about tsukasa, i always am.) he has his family business to attend to so it's almost a given he'd go CEO mode alongside his other entertainment work eventually, but thanks to the biblion scout story giving me the wonderful gem that is tsukasa suou having a knack for writing fiction, i have this headcanon that he goes on to write books eventually! his first series will definitely be a retelling of knights' lore packaged in a fantasy children's book series (names changed, of course). a story about a kingdom in decline because it was abandoned by its king and the three knights who were working hard to keep it from descending into total ruin, then a newbie knight joins them because he believes in their ideals. and eventually a "demon king" attacks the kingdom and they all band together to fight him off, then the big reveal is that the demon king was actually their runaway king and the newbie knight convinces him to come back! it'll be covering the protagonist joining the three knights to him eventually being crowned the king. and part of me thinks writing it this way would also be like adult tsukasa reminiscing his time with knights, with all its ups and downs. like a memoir packaged in a fiction book!

the rest of knights poke fun at him when reading parts of it. sena says he wasn't that mean, why is kasa-kun slandering his image! ritsu complains why his character counterpart didn't have enough scenes with maa-kun, they should've had 10 chapters of just them hanging out actually! ("this isn't trickstar's story, ritsu-senpai...") arashi laments she's much more delicate and soft-hearted, why did tsukasa-chan made her fight all those monsters like a brute! leo... well he doesn't have complaints actually. he thinks him being the demon king is so funny. why was the newbie knight cheekier than he remembers though? he'll write a song about this. but despite all the teasing, they'll treasure the story as a microcosm of their precious youth.

bonus that they do an audiobook recording of it and voice their characters. and when they accompany tsukasa in book signings, the kids Love leo and ask him all the time to "do the demon king voice!!" which he complies with... until he gets distracted with composing and tsukasa has to scold him. and the kids would think, "ah, the newbie knight is scolding the demon king..." and it totally flips their image of them lol.

This one is more overall Lore theorycrafting, but I am almost certain that it's Confirmed Absolutely Not The Case:tm: but I had a theory a long time ago that the Arland and Dusk subseries in Atelier took place in the same world centuries/thousands of years apart. It's been a while since I've thought about it, but I think it just worked well because the ruins in Lulua looked very aesthetically similar to the ones in Dusk, alchemy is a learned skill that can be taught as opposed to an innate talent like in the other subseries, and they even have homunculus/automatons/"operators" that are basically gods of alchemical ruins... My theory was that alchemy in Arland eventually fell into obscurity after hundreds of years and became the world of Dusk when people no longer used alchemy for the greater good.

In terms of very specific character headcanons, I like to think that Magilou from Tales of Berseria reads a lot of childrens' novels... it gives her ideas for comedy skits, they have a lot of fun/unique wordplay that she likes to use, it's a bonding opportunity for her and Laphicet, and once she starts being a little less nihilistic, they kind of give her a little bit of optimism that she will never ever admit to anyone.

So, like, she definitely, absolutely has to have a fanclub full of women that adore her, right? There's probably goofy polls like 'Which trainer would you like battle for the rest of your life' and her fans get her first place every time (at least in Paldea, worldwide someone like Leon might give her a run for her money). i have a lot of gender headcanons! hits my favorites with the transgender beam.........
of course my mind's blanking right now, but two that come to mind are that scaramouche/wanderer genshin impact and sanemi demon slayer are transmasc. scaramouche is fairly obvious i think; he was created to be a vessel for raiden ei (and although it's never stated what the sex of her prototypes were it just. makes sense for him to have been assigned female at creation because he was a prototype vessel for a female character), and the evolution of his design throughout his history as a character (and him constantly picking new names for himself lmao). his story reads as very trans to me idk, but he's transmasc-coded enough to Me that i shoved him in my trans mass deck
sanemi is more based on vibes, but he's got scars all over so i think some can be top surgery scars as a treat. also i don't know a single post-top surgery transmasc person who doesn't run around shirtless/with an open shirt at every given opportunity (mostly joking but for real all my homies do it)

For heacanons, I always have a lot of JJK and MDZS Ones. For JJK, Without going into spoilers, I can thankfully say a lot of my HC kinda got validated by the end of the manga (tl;dr relations to 'Womb Profusion' and the Curse Bearing Woman and Geto). kdaljfa Its a really fun deep hole.

But on non canon. Uh, I always have this Mahito HC but it gets too fantheory ish and cringy if I say it out loud LOL But I'll just say it involves the fact he is a confirmed "baby" curse, and his age and line up and how he is the only curse to bleed red (other curses bleed purple), and some misc things. But yeah LOL that one a bit cringe haahahaha so I cant goo full detail on here I think.

i have Many A Headcanon but they are mostly just related to my personal interpretations of xyz character's well, characterization, but also about character's gender and whatnot. I keep saying that mistah aomi ooe is "asexual in both ways like a snail" which i can't even really explain what i mean by this aside from "he's asexual but has sex and he's nonbinary but in an ideal world he would be smooth down there like a barbie doll". ALSO before ooe complete edition came out i kept joking that "everyone in ooe has bpd" and i feel like i can feasibly say that i was correct in my own little headcanonland if i expand that statement to Cluster B Personality Disorders and the image pictured below.

(The name I made up for this guy is "Nitta".) I think that Kizuna Chieda from AI The Somnium Files Nirvana Initiative knows a little bit of JSL. I think that Dio from Virtue's Last Reward really loves baseball.

I'm honestly not a big headcanon person, or at least that I can think of at the moment lmao. I've read various fics where I've thought, "Oh, this is so in character" or "I can totally see this happening," but nothing I'd say I've adopted as a full-on headcanon.

I know it doesn't say this explicitly in her character description on the site, but for whatever reason I associate Midorin with music. Maybe it's just the music note/whistling on her pic, her deck being named "tune," and her whole vibe. I see her as being in a riot grrl band that plays in the grimiest, grungiest clubs lmao.

And Mikan-tan loves fun. It is her raison d'être. Everything she does, she does because she thinks it'll be fun. Doing her taxes? Nope. Cleaning out the gutters? Never gonna happen. Unless she can tie it into a prank of some kind - then it gets imbued with fun and the game is afoot.

less of a headcanon and more of a wild theory but no one can take away from me the idea that American cinema classic Zoolander is the prequel to Kill la Kill.

Zoolander is about an evil cabal of fashion industry executives brainwashing male models into becoming assassins and making them kill the world leaders that threaten their business. One of them gets arrested at the end of the movie but the others never face any karma. They are still out there. They just integrated into the machine that is the Kiryuuin Conglomerate. A world where the fashion industry rules the planet from the shadows is the ideal stage for sentient alien thread monsters to take over. do you want to see my slideshow. wait no why are you running

but for something less stupid, i like the idea that in Fire Emblem Three Houses, Flayn is the patron saint of romance/lovers/etc in the Church of Seiros. In the underground library in the banned texts section you can find a book about making 'Cethleann's Love Garlands' or something like that, and she's one of those I Love Love types. But Seteth is a helicopter dad so I wouldn't put it past him to scrub anything that paints his baby girl in a salacious light. smh
