Happy 15th Anniversary to Colors TCG! For today's discussion post, let's give a little love both to the game itself and to the players that have kept it alive for so long! More specifically, let's talk about your personal experience joining Colors TCG! Where did you first hear about the game? Did you stumble upon it naturally, or maybe get (affectionately) forced into playing it by a friend? Has your understanding of the game or the way you play changed at all since you started playing, however long ago that might have been?

i learned about the game from haley when we were despairing over infinity nikki crashing and burning on a fan discord server a few weeks ago,, the idea about collecting cards of my favourite characters immediately appealed to me and i think i spent a few days DEEP DIVING into colors tcg to suss out the game and the community before finally deciding to join it AND I"M SO GLAD I DID.... the social aspects of this game + the sheer amount of fandom it encompasses makes it a lot more engaging than silly gacha games !! though now i'm worried my obsession with gacha games (which im now less attached to phew) has just been redirected to colors lol so gotta pace myself (ᵕ—ᗜ—)

i was super active on LJ about 18-20 years ago and im shocked i never knew about online tcgs till like 1 month ago, maybe cos i moved on to tumblr and then twitter so i didn't spend a lot of time on forums/journals beyond the first few years of my teens, but i'm sooo so glad this still exists and is going strong ! gonna try to bring more friends into this !! also maybe one day i'll decide to use neotcgs or whatever it is ya'll use and that'll really enhance my understanding of this fun png game
