Hey everyone! Sadly, Colorseum is going on a temporary hiatus soon. But before we do that, we're going to host the biggest tournament ever!

I introduce to you... the Tournament of Legends!

In Tournament of Legends (starting January 11th), the eight season champions of Colorseum, our only undefeated contestants ever *, will face off to see who is the biggest legend of them all, the ultimate Colorseum champion!

So, let's remind you of who they are. It's been a while since we've seen some of them.

Series: Final Fantasy X
Age: 15-17
Occupation: Guardian
Bracket: Isekai (round 51, season 6)
Colors deck: Al Bhed

Our sixth legend is the character from my default DW icon, Rikku. She won the Isekai bracket by beating several beloved characters like Zhuge Kongming, Chihiro Ogino and Hikaru Shidou. Then in the finals, she took advantage of an easier draw, reaching the final after beating Rude and Nagi Usui, before taking a decisive victory over Sakura Ogami. Her opponents this time are going to be much, much tougher, though.

When I was a kid I had a strategy guide for FFX-2 that I loved despite not owning the game. It had gorgeous art of all the girls in each of the Dresspheres, and I thought Yuna, Rikku, and Paine were just the coolest. Seeing Rikku today brings me back to that.

💛! Her role in FFX is underrated tbh. She's really mature for her age, she has the courage to think for herself and make her own way independently of the Al Bhed and Yevon, she helps keeps everyone's spirits light on the (frankly depressing) pilgrimage but she's also capable of being serious. We stan~

I think she grew on me with every FFX playthrough (and I had a lot of them). What a character.
