Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
It's that time again - the Seiyuu Guess last year retrospective! Each January we take a look back at shows from the previous year. Let's check out some great series and seiyuu from 2022!
"Wait," you say, "aren't we featuring shows from 2022? This dude looks more like he's from 222!" And you'd be exactly right! After his death, this famous third-century Chinese tactician wakes up in...Hell! No, just present-day Shibuya on Halloween, but close enough. He's quickly befriended by some drunk partiers (sick costume, bro!) who lead him into the BB Lounge, a bar/nightclub. At first he mistakes the club's loud dance music for some kind of demonic torture, but then Eiko takes the stage, and he's instantly captivated. Although she's just a waitress, she has dreams of making it big one day - and the talent to back them up. She just needs some guidance, encouragement, and maybe a little military strategy, courtesy of our boy here. Let's hear the clip...
"DJ Satori, drop the beat!"
"Ingenuity fostered over years of war / The doubts people have, I can't ignore / My stratagems make jaws hit the floor / Because I can read minds, you see / Claiming to quit, you still battle and spit / Why in the world is that? / Answer me, I'll give you a drink for free / How about a shandygaff, stat? / If you continue to fail to answer me / A posthumous work, your rap will be / Check it out! / You are off base / I've got no plans or way to leave this place / Back home, there's no longer one familiar face / I fear nothing at all, I just embrace / Who will be the winner of this affair? / All you ever do is fear / The result, it's crystal clear."
