Colors Chat 98

Finally, school's out for the day. Time to go to your part-time job, get your homework done, or dungeon crawl through the physical manifestation of someone's unconscious psyche. Oh, but wait, the group chat's blowing up! Better see what everyone wants...

Welcome to Colors Chat, where you can chat with your fellow Colors TCG members! For your response to the topic, you'll receive a card rainbow! As a general rule, responses should be around 6 sentences, but if you're a little short that's fine as long as your response is thoughtful. You don't have to answer all the prompts (or any of the prompts at all) as long as your response is on the topic.

This round's topic is.... SERIES SETTINGS!
Fiction, especially sci-fi and fantasy fiction, has a lot of really cool settings and locations! What places are your favorite? Any series with especially good worldbuilding that you enjoy? If you could visit any fictional setting where would it be? (Or maybe there's a real life location you'd like to visit thanks to a fictional series?) What would you do there? Conversely, are there any fictional places you would never go in a million years?

After you've responded, reply to other players' answers and start up a discussion! You can earn 2 extra random cards by replying to other people, up to 6 bonus cards total. Feel free to have more discussions than that, but you'll only get rewards for your first three conversations. See the first comment on this post for how to obtain your bonus rewards.

Please keep all comments civil and polite. This round ends Sunday, February 27th is now closed.

Hahaha, a while ago I remember the theory that if RPT is more of a justice alignment, telling James to pretty much 'wake up, accept your 'sins'', then Laura is another "Connection to marry = good" type thing. THere was a few thigns about it, and tbh I can't remember every details (its been so many years since the topic came up). However, it was a suggested theory at the time on I believe the very old version of I Got a Letter, but ofc I can't find it now (it might have been 10-15 years ago easily..)

Ah well, I see some arguements, but I see arguments against it too. (some say the timeline of her seeing mary a week or so vs years she has been dead, but then at the same time james is an unreliable narraitor and lies to himself so???) but yeah :) THATS JUST A THEORY.... A SILENT HILL THEORY!

oh, wow, that's kinda compelling? since he has several figures that manifest for him it's not entirely implausible

i thought it was established mary was dead for only a little while (and one of the devs even suggested her body might be in james' car lol god that's awful) but i could be misremembering that lol

NOOOO NOT THE GAME THEORY lmao. i'm surprised matpat hasn't touched silent hill, i'm sure he'd have a field day

Esp since her body is in the back of the car, it made me think it was more recent, but who knows. Esp with Frank Sunderland saying his son and daughter-in-law vanished in SH, it makes it seem like covered up or denied or just never reported that death/murder and just drove to SH pretty much within the same week. But it could also be a few years too, Hmm. Mysteries of SH.

maybe its best he doesnt... i probably wouldnt be able to handle it lol
