This world-renowned detective may or may not have hit a riddle that he just can't get through. Or is too bored to get through, unclear which. The point is, L's not going to figure out how to solve this problem without your help. Here's how it works!
❧ To use the grid, you simply cross-reference what you do and don't know. You can use dots for things you definitely know are true and crosses for things you definitely know are false.
❧ This guide on how to decipher the clues is also really helpful.
❧ This guide by Mini is also super helpful for doing them with text instead of the grid!
❧ Please Note! Each answer will only appear once. Selecting an answer more than once will result in that answer being marked incorrect.
This mystery is... a little different. See, it's apparently Christmas time, and L was put in charge of decorating the office tree. He doesn't remotely know how to begin.

1. There are no clues! This isn't a logic puzzle. All you have to do is decorate the grid below in whatever ways you want. You can add squigglies with Paint and call it good. You can add images in ridiculously clashing colors. You can throw out the whole grid and post a pic of a real tree. Whatever you decide to do, post your "answer" below.
2. The rewards will be choice cards! How many and what kind of cards you're allowed to take will entirely depend on how you decorate your tree. That's why there's still numbers and letters and junk on the image.
3. This is not a contest! L's preferences don't matter. There's already some predefined criteria for rewards. Some may include a few more choice cards than others while some may include stricter stipulations than others. It's going to be quite the mixing and matching ordeal.
4. Comments will not be screened! There are no right or wrong answers. And I'm sure everyone wants to show off their art, right? I'll try to be sending out rewards throughout the next two weeks, but just keep in mind that (for the most part) there is no secret to unlocking how to get the choice cards you want. Just decorate however you like, and we'll see what kind of gift L punts in your direction when you're done!
5. "Is this a part of Advent?" I hear you ask. "Is this legal by Colors law?" Look, I won't tell if you don't. IT'S CHRISTMAS! LIVE A LITTLE!
6. "What if I have absolutely no access to any art program over the next two weeks literally at all at any point in time? Can I just send a text thing or something?" So long as it looks vaguely like a tree, sure. But this is going to be hard mode on claiming those rewards. c:
7. "This isn't like Horror Edition at all!" The fun is claiming the cards from the ridiculous stipulations L's about to throw at you.

L would prefer that you send in the completed grid so he has something to go off of in terms of decorating! But if you absolutely have to write things out, he'll try his best to make sense of it.

You can take choice cards spelling either GRANDMA or REINDEER. Alternatively, you can take cards that spell GRANDMA REINDEER but they can only be specials.
Make sure to let L know what cards you take, too!
