Welcome to Colors Advent Calendar! We hope you're excited to participate in different discussions, games and other activities everyday until Christmas!

Today's theme is animals! Let's talk about either your own pets, animals you love in general or maybe even about colors applicable animals you absolutely adore! Or maybe even about all of them, no one will judge.

Share pictures, but remember to link giant ones and please warn for pictures of snakes or bugs, since I know for a fact some people (including myself) get jumpy with them!

Baby.

Boy.

SCOOBY. My dog. My boy. My precious weeny baby. Lives up to his namesake by being scared of everything. I adopted him from a shelter where they had him in their "Scaredy-dog Program." Because I've some experience with rehabilitating dogs, they let me have him (for free!) before he'd officially graduated. He's no longer afraid of car rides, harnesses, food, walks, baths, and brushing, but we're still working on unexpected noises (he skulks away from something so much as a sneeze or a squeaky toy). Storms and fireworks are out of the question (that's what he's "hiding" from in the second picture. That's his favorite hiding place because he thinks no one can see him. Very Scooby-like.)

He doesn't realize he's 50+ pounds and jumps in my lap when he's frightened by things.

Good for you, being able to take care of him properly! A lot of people aren't willing to put in a little work to really help a dog be the best they can be, so it makes me happy to know you did! He looks like a very cute boy, I want to pet his ears, haha.
