Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
It's October, and you know what that means: spooky season is officially here! Let's count down the thirty-one days of Halloween at Seiyuu Guess with some rounds featuring all manner of ghouls, goblins, and other creatures that go bump in the night!
Hey, I thought we were doing spooky rounds for Halloween - these two girls look perfectly normal! But looks can be deceiving, at least in the case of the girl on the right. She's actually a genetically-engineered witch, defined in this series as someone who can control molecules. On top of that, she's wanted for the murder of the physicist who was studying her abilities, although she has no memory of the event or her own powers. The girl on the left is a bounty hunter turned bodyguard, doing her damnedest to keep her danger-prone friend alive. The two are headed south, with only an Inca rose stone and the name "Wiñay Marka" as the clues to their destination. Let's hear the clip...
"Here. Coffee. It'll warm you up."
"What about cream?"
"There wasn't any cream, but I found sugar. Want some?"
"Two."
"Got it."
"What about for him?"
"Lizards don't drink coffee."
"Right. What about that man?"
"Hm? ...I don't know how far I should take you seriously. ... I guess he had a family. But he wound up alone here in the end. I wonder what happened."
"Did they all die?"
"Who knows? Do you think that's what happened?"
"I don't really know."
"If his family were dead, I guess that'd be more fortunate for him. He'd have no regrets that way, too. But if they're all alive, and they were living separately for some reason... 'Someday, my loved ones will open that door and come back. Someday... Someday, surely.' It'd be painful if he died with thoughts like that."
"What about you, [character name]?"
"Hm? No worries. I'm one of the fortunate ones. They're all dead already."
"Me, too."
"What?"
"I'm one of the fortunate ones, too. Because the Doctor's dead..."
"[Character name]..."
"Hm?"
"Hey, do that thing."
"That thing?"
"The thing you were doing when we met."
"Sure."
