Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
Our character this week has had a pretty rough go of it so far as romance is concerned. By the end of his years in middle school, he's been rejected by not just one, two, or even ten girls; fifty girls have had to let him down easy. He's still nursing a broken heart on his first day at Shohoku High...until he runs into a cute, sweet girl named Haruko and is instantly smitten. Unfortunately for him, she's only got eyes for Rukawa, the school's new basketball ace. But our boy is undeterred. Armed with height, speed, and guts, he resolves to join the basketball team, beat Rukawa at his own game (literally), and win Haruko's undying love. Let's hear the clip...
"Leave the ball. So I shouldn't put strength into my hand."
"That's right!"
"I see. I think I've grasped something. I'm ready! Relax my knees, jump high, and shoot as if to leave the ball..."
Must be nice to be able to jump so high. I've never experienced such a thing. I'm a little envious.
