Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
Never thought living in humid subtropical Mississippi I'd miss a week of work due to snow/ice. Insert Paul Rudd "Look at us" gif here! But speaking of climate change...
After a triple whammy of earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcano eruptions with some resultant riots thrown in for good measure, the world finally decides to take this whole "global warming" thing kinda seriously. Instead of Gamestop or AMC shares, the market sees heavy trades in carbon commodities, with various countries and organizations doing shady deals to lower their carbon tax rates. Japan has planted so many trees in an effort to offset its carbon emissions that the country's quickly becoming a jungle hellscape unfit for human life. The rich, connected, and lucky have ascended to the literally higher plane of Atlas, a giant and not at all suspicious utopian tower currently under construction by the government. This girl and the rest of the peons are stuck in places like Duomo, little pockets of civilization stranded in the ever-encroaching forest. Let's hear the clip...
"All this time, I've been thinking about what I could do. I love all the people of Duomo. So, I was thinking of ways I could protect them from sadness and grief."
"I see."
"I've seen a lot of things now. But it's like I feel like I can't do anything. I mean... I never could do anything."
"There isn't much one person can do alone. You're going up against Atlas, after all."
"Yeah, they're just too big. I haven't made this decision because Momoko-san has been kidnapped nor because of what happened at the center. I think I made this decision a long time ago. But I couldn't make up my mind for sure whether or not this was the best thing to do. I'm going to become the leader of Metal-age."
