Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
In a fantasy land filled with elves, sorcerers, lizard people, and the like, the most magical thing about it might just be...a door. A door that appears only once every seven days, on the Day of Satur, to those most in need of what lies behind it. This girl was one such lost soul whose curiosity led her past the threshold and into a whole new world: modern day Japan, specifically Western Restaurant Nekoya. Now she works there as a waitress, serving omurice and katsudon to her fellow fantastical tourists. Let's hear the clip...
"Order up. Steamed potato with butter."
"It smells good."
"Go ahead. Eat up."
"O god of demons, thank you for another wonderful meal." I didn't think that cobbler's tubers could become this delicious just by steaming them. In place of words, my breath spills out in quick puffs. The freshly steamed cobbler's tuber is very hot. It crumbles in my mouth while the steam escapes. At the same time, the butter melted on top makes it slide down my throat easily. Maybe it's because this cobbler's tuber was cooked with that strange steaming method that the flavor is stronger than an ordinary cobbler's tuber, and I even find it delicious. This is the first time I've had a cobbler's tuber that tasted so good. I can't stop eating it, and before I know it, I've finished it.
"Steamed potatoes are so good plain that almost any seasoning goes well with them. Want another?"
"Yes, please!" I never dreamed that the cobbler's tubers I ate just to survive could become such a delicious dish. Needless to say, after that, cobbler's tubers turned into my favorite food, potatoes.
