Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.

This week we're continuing our anime timeline with a TV series that began airing in 1997! That was the year I really learned what anime was and became obsessed with it, haha. Can't believe it's been 20 years now. I only just saw this particular show this year, actually. Better late than never though, because it was amazing!

The man on the left is a hardened mercenary, living his life one battle at a time, never really thinking about his place in the world. One day he's ambushed by members of the Band of the Hawk, a notorious mercenary troop led by the man on the right, who convinces him to join the group after beating him in a duel. Over the years the Band makes a name for itself, defeating increasingly formidable enemies and attracting the attention of the royal court. But as their leader's ambition grows, fate might have something else in store for the Band. Tip: I'm looking for their seiyuu from the 1997 TV series, NOT the more recent movies and series. "Why? You could have stabbed me through the heart back there. It would have been simple for you. Why didn't you kill me?"
"I desire to have you as my soldier, [character name]. I observed the duel between you and Bazuso at the castle. That was a superb fight. However...it was quite close. If Bazuso's axe had not been cracked, the weapon would have decapitated you."
"Maybe."
"You're honest. Judging by your way of fighting, it seems you always put your life at risk. Even against monsters like Bazuso or great numbers like Corkus's men, you don't yield an inch. On the contrary, you recklessly challenge them with your sword. You are brave, but I believe you purposefully put your life in danger and seek the meaning of your existence by battling to preserve it. That's what I felt. You're interesting. I find you very much to my liking. I want you to join us, [character name]!"
What is this? He...why is he telling me this? "If I say no?"
"You won't?"
"Of course not. I refuse! Don't talk as if you know so much! What do you know about me? We've never talked before. How could you know anything about me?"
"I don't know much about you. I just have a feeling about this."
"You lousy... Acting so friendly after you stabbed me! It's you who started the fight! I am definitely not going to forget about this! I don't expect you to forget about what I did either, killing your guys! You and I are obviously enemies."
"What do you want?"
"Well, that's simple... To settle things with our swords. When I win, I'll make a hole in your chest just like this one!"
"What if I win?"
"Do whatever you want with me!"
"All right. I rather enjoy settling things by force."
"[Character name]!"
"Leave us alone, Casca."
"But..."
"No matter what, I will have what I want."
"I've had enough of you acting so stuck up. It makes me sick!"

Tell Shizuka both characters' names, both of their seiyuu, and what series they're from for twelve random cards and a random crayon!

my love for these two is ... kind of like a large vehicle. Not so much a car or a van, but a lot larger. If only I could think of one... Then I would offer to make... uh.. was it a cake.. maybe something that rhymes with said vehicle B: I guess I'll never know.

I been playing the PS4 game of Berserk Musou and boy did I think saying lame Berserk sex jokes were akward in a crowded room...
