Sorry for the delay!

Just yesterday we bought the christmas tree for our place, so here's a discussion round about holiday decorations!

If you celebrate Christmas or any other winter holidays, do you decorate your house, your room, your cat? From Christmas trees to Ramiels hanging from the ceiling (yup that was our actual theme last year), tell us about whatever you want. If you don't decorate your place, maybe you've seen some cool decorations in your town that you'd like to talk about?

We used to put up stockings and such around the house, but not so much anymore. We also have a Christmas tree, and a little Santa with a chalkboard that counts down the days until Christmas. Nothing too special, but we're a simple family.

we always decorate every year, we put up a tree, stockings, various holiday decorations & lights outside the house. it just feels nice to be in the holiday spirit! oh yeah, we also own cute scarfs & a small santa hat for the kitties and ofc they hate it but they look so cute omg

oh yeah in the area we used to live in there used to be a neighborhood that went all out in their decorations and went all out like i remember going every year when i was little up until we moved and there would be so many cars like it was an theme park attraction just to see these lights

I do celebrate Christmas, but I only decorated when I was living with my mom. Now I'm on my own (with roomies lmao) we don't really decorate so much, this year or last year. Ideally I'd like to get a tree when we move but money's gonna be tight, and I'm not too sussed about it. But it's a Christmas tradition I grew up with and love a lot :3

If I move next year, I would decorate my window with white fairy lights and buy myself a nutcracker to put on the windowsill!

I LOVE to decorate, but unfortunately my boyfriend does not like when I do it LOL. He says I make an unecessary mess, so I usually end up not decorating at all. :c
I like to walk around my neighborhood and look at all the cool decorations since our neighborhood does an annual lights contest. I think it drives the neighborhood MAD, some houses are decked tf out.
Like music playing, lights flashing, animated yard decorations, the walls are like nonvisible through the lights LOL.

I want to see those Ramiels omg. There's no decorations we hang up, but the town area usually has a lot of them...I think I saw a lot of blue/white. The shopping centre I pass through almost every day also has a pretty nifty-looking cone christmas tree.

i dont decorate but my mom goes to town.... my favourite decoration that she has is a tiny clockwork christmas tree with numbered drawers and each has a little decoration to put on the tree every day in december. it's super cute, even if the song it sings is kinda old and broken-sounding now, we've had it so long :L

We have a huge pine tree growing in our front yard, so every year we'd decorate it with lights and ornaments. It does need a trim though because it's almost taller than our house now.

We don't really have an annual theme - we just have SO MUCH CHRISTMAS STUFF IN STORAGE that Mom always tosses up whatever she feels like at the time.

We have a tree, wall decorations and window decorations every year. This year my mum bought a layered paper wreath for the front door and it's really cute. Usually we have a little Christmas bandana for our dog, but I haven't seen that so far... maybe it'll turn up soon.

Nope, I don't decorate and my family doesn't really. Though, some of the relatives that we have Christmas dinner with always go all out, decorations all over their lawns, etc. It's nice to see, but not something I feel the need to do myself.

we don't decorate at all anymore.. we used to when i was younger, like putting up those blinking fairy lights and setting up a christmas tree and my mom would play this terrible cd with terrible christmas songs allll day, but now we don't anymore. it's kinda sad because i'm never really in the christmas mood..

We always decorate for Christmas! Our decorations actually went up this afternoon, tree and all. We have little trinkets all over the living room, and we have a big snowman cuddly toy that's the perfect size to just hold in your lap! We also have a little red christmas bandana for our dog and he looks so cute. I love seeing other peoples lights too, it acutally makes me look forward to walking home in the cold!

My mom loves decorating our house during Christmas so we have stuff all around our house. We start decorating once we get a tree and usually spend a Saturday or Sunday morning doing that. This year my dad bought more lights so he put them up so they'd line our patio covering and our covered area over our driveway. We got a screen door recently so we put a wreath and other little decorations on it. My mom has a lot of fake poinsettias that she always puts around the living room.

Don't really decorate for any of the holidays because while they're fun to put up, they're also annoying to take down lol. My family is pretty lazy haha but I do like making holiday cards for friends and family! I like to use washi tape!

we don't decorate much!! we have stockings (mostly for our hoard of animals) and we usually buy a "christmas" tree for the yard...but we put birdseed and popcorn on it, not ornaments of anything.

I definitely have no plans on decorating for any Holidays anytime soon, just recently adopted a very young bunny and she gets into absolutely everything, haha! I can't even imagine the kinds of trouble she could get into with Holiday decorations.. nor do I want to anytime soon. I've never really decorated much anyway, so there's nothing missing.

We have a Christmas tree! We put some lights on the front of the house too, though not that many. When I have my own place I'll probably get a little tree and hang up anime keychains on it because I'm a loser that way but it'd make me happy, haha. I'm not a huge Christmas fan, though, so I'll probably never decorate all that much.

we used to decorate our house with multiple christmas trees, depending on the room there was a theme. My favorite one is the disney ornament tree since it of course has disney ornaments. I like it, but it can be long to set up.

My family decorates for Christmas but I hate....taking all that time decorating just to have to take it all down in a few weeks lmao. There's currently boxes all over the living room by the tree because the tree's only half done. We also do a few other basic decorations like wreathes and poinsettias and nutcrackers but if it were up to me there wouldn't be anything haha.

We decorate our house every year with pretty much most of the stuff that we've had since I was a little kid, so there's always an element of nostalgia around Christmas time! We have the tree, a couple of Santa statues and a snowman at the window, and soon we'll be hanging things from the ceiling and curtain railing to finish everything off :>

I celebrate a pretty low-key Christmas - mainly for the excuse of giving presents to people. I do the outside icicle lights, and decorate a tiny (well, 3 foot) Christmas tree with popcorn garlands and these adorable wooden ornaments. I also passed by an inflatable Hells Angel Santa in someone yard today - I had to pull over to just sit and laugh over the steering wheel for awhile, because it was really detailed.

We don't decorate here. Too many cats means decorations and a tree would be messed up in no time flat. Instead, we just go look at our family's decorations.

We usually put a few small decorations outside, and put up a tree and stockings in our living room. This year, we were a bit lazy and we didn't really put any ornaments on the tree...it's been a rough year. But the tree is pre-lit, at least! :P

We don't do too much in the way of decorations, except for menorahs, which are less "decoration" and more "kind of a thing you need for the holiday". Occasionally we scatter dreidels over the table as well, and there are a few paper wall decorations we've put up in the past. I've always really loved Christmas lights, though. Seeing houses and trees all lit up gives me this stupidly warm cozy feeling. ;A;

My folks got out the decorations towards the middle of the month. My dad enjoys setting up a nativity scene every year, while my mom likes setting up the tree with ornaments. I like setting up snowglobes on my shelves, too.

My family doesn’t decorate at all ;A; but I did go downtown a week ago and there were a ton of lights and quite a few people cosplaying for festive photoshoots! Even if I had the time and space, I don’t think I would go all out for decorating, maybe just gather a few sparkly ornaments? I think I prefer looking at decorations rather than decorating.

we have a fake fireplace so we put small stockings up for ourselves and the cats. my uncle just gave us a plain white light up tree so we've had that up too! i also have a snowman costume for my white cat lmao
