Contest 008 - Design Gin-sensei!

Our last character is Gin-sensei! :D The -sensei suffix is used with teachers, doctors, professors, and other professionals or figures of authority. It can also be used to show respect to someone who has mastered some sort of art form or skill. Accomplished novelists, musicians, artists, etc, can also be addressed as sensei~. I look forward to seeing what kind of sensei you might design. "Gin", by the way, means silver. I apologize if the appearance requirements below force you to settle on certain types of sensei... that is not my intention. :')

After submissions close, voting will be open for 1 week. I will have entries up in one post where people can place their vote. The submission with the most votes will become our official "Gin-sensei." You must allow your art to be used in the TCG in graphics such as banners, icons, and cards. Be prepared to have your art featured as the model for future pics of Gin-sensei!

Gin-sensei's appearance
♥ Gin-sensei's hair must be silver and Gin-sensei must wear predominantly silver.
♥ Gin-sensei must wear glasses, a necktie, and dress shoes.
♥ Gin-sensei must wear a lab coat.
♥ Gin-sensei must wear or have chains.

(For the first requirement, white to black is OK for clothes, but please have some gray/silver too!)

Other guidelines
♥ Your art must feature Gin-sensei from head to toe.
♥ Your art must be original and drawn by you!
♥ Drawings must be at least 600px wide and saved as a gif/png/jpg file. I will resize your image for voting, but I will also link your original and any extras you wish to include.
♥ Only one submission is allowed per member. Please do not send me variations. I will only take one submission. You are free to include other views of the character, but I will only display one view in the voting post. I will link the rest.
♥ Send your submissions in by email to rykatu[at]yahoo[dot]com as an attachment. Make sure to label the subject of the email with "Colors TCG Gin-sensei submission - your name". Please include the name you use in the TCG since not all emails match up with names.
♥ Please do not post your art elsewhere until voting ends.
♥ The deadline is March 15 at Noon, 12 PM PST time (GMT -8).

Some new clarifications since I get these kind of questions a lot~
- Gin-sensei must be human or at least appear human (no mascots please).
- Gin-sensei can be any gender.
- If you've won one contest before, you may still enter. If you've won twice like Karu, you'll have to sit this one out. :') Karu, you are just too awesome. =P

After this one, we will have one more contest for a mascot type character who will be Gin-sensei's pet. :) (So please do not include any animals with Gin-sensei at the moment!)

I should've restarted my computer after I installed a program. Hours later, I still haven't restarted my computer. XDD;;

Actually! I don't honestly know e_e!! I ...thi-nope don't know. but I do like using it! eue!

Oh. I just hate restarting it, because my computer sometimes throws bitch fit and gets stuck on the logging off page. so i have to force it to restart then it goes through that whole, the computer didn't shut down properly how would you like to restart. and then throws a we have to have to check the consistency of your disc drive BRB this will take 40 minutes! TROLOLOL... >8( I do not like waiting.

Oh, the glasses. XD; of course glasses had to be a requirement for someone!! I was more thinking about the labcoat. XD Because that kind of narrows things down!

I'm kinda amused. I started a sketch of a head for a possible Gin this morning just for fun and I think he'll fit the requirements perfectly. I knew that glasses would be a requirement before we finished off the human characters. Now I just need to work on a body ^-^

I'm going to miss these contests.

How amusing!! XD I had plans to include glasses somewhere, but by the time I thought to have it as one of the requirements, there weren't too many characters left, and it didn't seem to fit Tobi-han! So Gin-sensei it was for our megane character. Kind of cliché, I suppose, to have the "sensei" character wear glasses. XD; I look forward to yours~ :D

I'll miss them too! I'll start other contests to keep our contests going, but they probably won't be designing contests. :')

Do you mind chibis? Really the only thing I can draw but I can put enough detail on it for a basic idea of his appearance. Also, can he be part animal? Cat/fox ears, tails, etc. I have a good idea of his appearance if I can do that. I know it's a rather late time to ask. haha. Thanks~
