Hi everyone, it's the first release of 2015! How did your New years go? I hope we're off to start another wonderful year for Colors TCG and what's a better way to start a new year than to introduce new content! I'm happy to announce that because of multiple players breaking the level scale we'll be introducing another tier, Elements! Look forward to it in the new Levels post that will be up soon.

One tier isn't enough though since some of our players will be out of it soon anyway! That's why next month we'll be introducing another new tier, Felines! However, we need suggestions for the equivalents of red, green and purple levels of this tier. If you can think of any felines that could work for these levels, please tell us! For this, you can take a bonus choice card that is in one of the colors we are missing.

For red, if lion hasn't been used how about cheetah? Or lynx? I saw one where it's fur was kinda red... maybe. For purple, how about a domestic breed like Chartreux, Himalayan or Sphynx (pink or gray, which are kind of close to purple, ones come to mind when I think of this breed) which are more gray but could work for purple maybe? Tho if panther isn't being used for gray, it could work for purple too. I... have no idea for green! Calico cats tend to have green eyes though so... maybe that?

For the felines... for red, there's a lot of cats, though their reds are rarely really reddish reds. Ocelots, and lynxes for instance. Some Pallas Cats also look fairly purple at times despite being classed as having gray fur.

I do agree with others here that it's a bit of an odd subject for tiers since I don't think there's any actually green cats. Birds might have been a lot better since they come in all sorts of colors.

First use!

My first thought for a purple cat was the Scottish fold--I guess because they're so big and grey, they just make me think of purple!? Haha. For red, maybe a lion? Since they can have rust-colored manes. For green, just any domestic long-/short-haired cat could work green eyes are fairly common (especially with black cats).

For the next time you need a tier, perhaps butterflies or insects in general would work. Certainly all kinds of colours there! :P

Red, green and purple... the abyssinian domestic breed is sort of reddish. Green... aside from eye colour... well I dunno, there's a cat called the Norwegian Forest Cat. It's associated with green? And the only purple cat I can think of is Luna from Sailor Moon lol. Not really useful. And despite my lack of purple cat, I'll take broomstick09 which is a purple card, hehe.

Though, I think colors are kind of limited, obviously (Cougars are kind of red, and Panthers I guess are a type of purple?), but when it comes to donations, I wonder how some people will donate, since usually people keep close to themes (like they have with fruits.). As for Green though, I guess an Ocelot or Lynx is the only thing that comes to my mind when I think green, but they are still a brown/yellow I guess. (idk if thats helpful, but imma take clear06 (green) for being a pain in the butt!)

You could always use a Cheshire cat for purple! But for actual breeds, hmm... The British Shorthair's blue can look kind of purple-y? Maybe Bengals or Toygers for red? I can't think of any for green, though. :|a

I don't know if you're planning to stick to breeds of cats, but if not, for purple, perhaps a Cheshire tier, named after the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland?

'Danish green' is the only green type of cat, but it's only a working name for scientists and not an official breed, and it's not exactly catchy. The only other thing I could think of for the is if you were to go with something to do with their eyes, since many cats have green eyes. Pixiebob cats can also look kind of green.
Oriental Shorthair cats are usually gray but look like they have a sheen of purple, and the same for Main Coon cats.
For red, some good choices are Abyssinian cats, Burmese cats, Bengal cats, and Chausie cats. Googling these shows most have a red tint to their fur.

For cat tiers, I'd suggest Abyssian for red. A panther would work for purple too, I think. As for green... maybe a jungle cat? They're not actually green but they live in green places...!

AS FOR THOSE FELINES uh. As per my two cents that is not the most versatile of categories, I don't particularly imagine 'colorful' when I think of cats, which...is presumably why y'all are having trouble with the remaining colors, I'm guessing?

IN THE REALM OF ACTUAL SUGGESTIONS THO I will third going with Abyssinians for red, and second panthers for purple :|a whenever I think of them I think of cartoony panthers with a slightly purple sheen. Takin' six14.
