It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself an ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!

Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.

Topics for the future! Is there a subject you'd love to see as a topic for Colors Chat in the future? Or maybe there's an old topic you liked and want to see again? Speaking of past topics, was there a past topic you liked?

To encourage discussions between players, there's a bonus - for every conversation that is at least 5 comments long all participants will receive two random cards. This is not limited, so talk to as many people as you wish!

There was a discussion once about our favorite cards/decks in one of the anniversary posts that would be great to have every so often. Maybe instead of favorite ever, maybe of recent releases?

I kind of liked the whole "characters you get attached to way faster than you know" topic too! But for new topics, how about music recs? Maybe there's some opening/ending/insert songs of a particular series we like? That'd be pretty cool. :U

I think talking about decks we might want to see would be pretty fun! Or decks that we wish we could make but can't for whatever reason. I know I'd have a lot to talk about on THAT front, and I'm sure that other people would too.

Or if not that, then maybe about whatever games are their favorite. Or if they have a specific book that they like. Or even just a whole chat about roleplaying would be pretty cool!

I wonder if there's a better way to encourage actual chatting. Then again, I'm partially to blame. I know I don't chat with folks.

But I'll happily answer all questions. I don't really have a preference.

I'm not exactly picky. Maybe a topic of reccing a series you love but doesn't get enough attention? Or maybe a silly "trading card games problems" topic, where you post about the trials and tribulations of being hopelessly addicted to pixel card games. Like when easyTCG decides to not remove cards from your trade pile, or you're just one trade away from acrostic but you're so busy.....
Or maybe something more generic like gardening or cooking. Or an original character discussion?

as for old topics we liked, the pun topic was super fun. :U

I wouldn't mind another way to get more people to actually.... well.... chat. Cards always helps but I wonder if there'd be another way to do it.

As for things, maybe mentioning other games that we play, or TCGs that we miss/how we got started into TCGs as well.

Also, how the heck do you use plurk. Seriously. I see you all mention it, but I have no idea how it works. And I've even seen those little colors buttons and other buttons for tcgs.... please to send help. ;-;

There's nothing in particular that I'd like to see. I try not to be too picky. More things related to the TCG could work. How you choose decks to collect, favorite cards, favorite decks, favorite games, etc. There's other things, like how you got into Colors, goals for Colors, games you'd like to see... There's a lot of possibilities. Other things, like favorite series or soundtracks seem to work well too.

Hmmmm I really can't think of a good answer for anything! I'm not sure what a good topic would be, because I'm just not good for topic picking. I'm not sure what people like to talk about, (though its usually about ourselves) so I'm not sure what to say.

As for past topics, Mmmm I'm not sure either? Though there is no problem to bring back old topics. Sometimes answers change, such as favorite___ and such, since interest and views can change for people as well.

I like the topics where you really find out about people's interests and find people you have stuff in common with. Ones we've had before that do this really well are talking about ships and favourite anime/characters. But the one I really like was showing off your favourite gifs. The Beauty Pageant game is no longer being posted, so that Colors Chat round gave us the chance to go and find images we really liked and show the off here! So for future chat topics, I'd love to see something along those lines of showing others things we like. For example, "Show us your favourite picture of characters you like" or "Favourite quotes from anime shows you like" because we have the chance to show payers what we love about certain characters! :)

Hmm. I've always liked the ones where you can just ramble about your favorite whatever, whether it's your OTP/anime/game/genre/band. The usual ones. Last year's anniversary posts had some great conversation topics, if I remember right...

But how about doing some small games? Like one of the anniversary games, where you had to describe a series without saying any names etc. It sparked some conversations and it was super fun in general! I'd love to do that again with more series. I'm not very good at coming up with games, so I don't know what else would work, but I'd be willing to try out simple games like that.

I would love to talk about music. My Vocaloid songs and the covers I have. I would probably ramble on about Akatin, to be honest, or Mafumafu. But, yes, I would like to talk about music for that reason.

I also wouldn't mind talking about unloved series. Or ships. Or characters, and what makes them a good/bad character design-wise? (I'm really bad at coming up with discussion questions.)

"Favorite kinds of things" I like 8D but I can talk about those easily fdghahgadkh. Honestly I find it a bit harder to talk about rl stuff so out in the open here so I shy away from those specific topics. But the more fandom-y stuff I can yak about haha.

It'd be interesting to have a fic recs post! This being fandom, I'm guessing a lot of us read fan fiction. And yet, I've never really seen such things discussed in TCGs I've been in aside from the fics for the colors universe? We could list fics we like and title our posts with the fandom for easy browsing! I bet I could find some good reads here. :D

I haven't been participating a lot in this game, but I do peruse the comments from time to time! I think one of my favourites is the GIF post because oh man, this was a gold mine. And I may or may not have saved half the images from that page. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing something like this from time to time, especially when new images come into being so often and demand to be shared ;) As for something I'd like to see in the future, I can't help but remember one of the Anniversary event posts we had where we recommended favourite series and such! Something like this may also help grab people's attention and promote conversation as we try to lure others into our fandoms, haha.

I'd like to see some more unusual topics. Alot of time the same topics are used for events and chats so if we can narrow down a way to focus things on smaller points maybe? I know that's awfully vague. But maybe things like talking about donations from the last month? Or your favorite recent game. Or things that have happened recently that you liked in Colors. Something like that?

I haven't really been playing Colors for long enough to know any of the old topics for rounds, LOL, so I'd say... favorites? Favorite characters, shows, that sort of thing! I love to know what other people like (and jump in when someone shares my favorites, haha), so that could be a lot of fun and a good conversation starter! Also it's interesting to think about your favorites, because you can realize there's certain genres/character types you like, all that!

I liked the discussion post during the Fourstival event concerning things people collect. I think I recall someone having a post card collection which was pretty neat. Just hearing... reading about things people have is really interesting especially since there's some sort of effort put into collecting. It could also be about decks in Colors as to possibly keep it relevant (I'm pretty sure that was a topic once?) But it doesn't bother me with there being talk that isn't so related to the Colors game itself.

I also liked the 'do you find any anime/manga/game characters attractive' conversation idea. I was still kind of new at the time, though, and had felt unsure about replying. But I'd like to see that again as talking about little parts of a design that can just make you decide 'yes' is pretty fun.

Ships would also be fun to discuss, too, whether it be canon or crosscanon or whatever else.

I love chatting about different series, and there are a lot of different topics we could draw from. Favorite character types could be interesting, and everyone know the main characters of series, how about favorite side-characters? I like learning about music from series, too, so checking out discussions about music helps me find new things. I pick up on what new series to look forward to from discussions too. I guess technical questions like favorite mangaka or favorite anime studio could be interesting, and favorite voice actors? Those are just some of the topics that would most interest me.

I love hearing about what people are currently in to and what they want to collect. The "character you want to have decks" and the "series that need decks" discussion are always interesting to me. There are always series and characters that I'd like to collect but I'm never sure if anyone else would want them too. "Unusual/Less popular ships you like" would be interesting as well as discussions about favorite types of character like "favorite child character", "favorite glasses character" or "favorite funny character". I'd also love a discussion on what everyone is currently watching/reading. It's always fun to flail about a new show with other fans.

I really love chatting about favorite series, favorite characters, and things like that. Of course, you can only ask those questions so many times... But it'd be nice to maybe talk about more specific variants of that sort of thing? Like what kind of series do you like to mass collect, talk about a character you're currently collecting, etc. It'd be cool to have questions that tie character/series preferences into what you're doing in the actual TCG. Unfortunately, I haven't really participated in Colors Chat enough to know much about previous topics (because I'm lazy), but that's my two cents!

I would really like to hear about what shows people are watching or what books they're reading or games they're playing! It's always fun to see people discuss something you like and then jump in and make some new friends along with it. After all, what better way of making a new friend than finding out that they like the same strange thing that you do!?

It's also a fun way to finding out what decks someone may want to collect or have already collected without poking around their page on top of making new friends! All like "Hey cool, you like Yuru Yuri? I have this card from a character's deck in that series, would you want to trade?" along with becoming friends perhaps!

and maybe I would like to follow more cool people on plurk who like visual novels and would laugh at my flailing too. that would cool too. ;v;

Ooh, so many possibilities! I think discussing favourite music artists and suggesting recommendations would be fun. I second all the more fandom based suggestions such as discussing pairings, fanfictions, theories and fandom as a whole. Or random things such as most underrated series, series that you wish got a sequel, favourite ending to a game/series, etc.

I haven't been a member for that long, but I really enjoyed the discussion about collecting, it was really fun to read!

I can never really run out of things to talk about, but it's harder to think of things to talk about on the spot. I'd be interested in hearing video game recommendations from other people, I don't know if that's happened. I know we did anime once? Or, at least...I think we did. It doesn't matter. Recommendations! Recommendations are fun and I need them often.

Someone mentioned above so I'm gonna second! I'd like to talk about ships and pairings and maybe what decks those would be and how they would look together etc.
