Happy Colors Anniversary, players! Have you ever wanted people to tell you their favorite books, or movies, or television shows, but all they give you is a list of names or titles, and you have no idea if you'll like them?

The remedy for your pain is simple! They will now be required to tell you a synopsis instead! So for this discussion, everyone will comment with a brief (or not so brief) synopsis of their favorite manga or anime written by themselves! That means no copying and pasting the synopsis from the Internet! There should be no directors' names or writers' names or illustrators' names, and no titles in your comment! There should also really be no character names, or it will be too easy! You're trying to challenge your fellow Colors players!

Others can feel free to guess the title or name of the manga or anime you described, or you can go guess others', but don't worry, no one has to guess it in order for you to receive your rewards! Merely posting a synopsis will get you the prizes!

I think it's fair to say that it might not necessarily be my favourite animanga series, but that's because I'm very indecisive regarding favourites. It's up there though. :]

Synopsis: So this girl ends up going to a really weird school because of a boy she vaguely remembers from her past. While she's there, she gets into a lot of fights. One of these fights wins her a constant companion of this really passive and strange girl, who she ends up pretty fond of regardless. Except once they end up hanging out together, that's when shit gets really weird. There's sexual scandals, and backstabbing, and incest, and a boatload of surrealism, and messages about the cycles of abuse and needing to act on your own behalf. Also a really great musical soundtrack, a strong female cast, and gay and lesbian characters!

It's a story about an anxious teenager who moves to a small island with his grandmother. He starts his high school life by meeting an overly excited boy who casually moves in with him. They befriend a grumpy guy with a crazy hairdo and make him teach them how to fish. A 25yo secret agent from an organization named after a bird species joins their high school class and starts fishing with them too. They save the world. One of the boys is actually a fish. It's a love story between a man and his fish ok.

Synopsis: This series is set in the near future, where 'astronaut' is a lot more mundane (and blue-collar) a job. While the first half of the show focuses on slice-of-life and office politics of the characters, the second starts to get more political between one character trying out for a prestigious mission to Jupiter and the rising economic question of 'who on Earth gets to control resources in space'. The characters are pretty diverse and interesting, and it can be a both funny and touching series.

Synopsis: A girl who feels herself to have no redeeming qualities one day finds that she has the potential to use magic to fight monsters by making a contract. It's an exciting prospect that she is initially for, but soon after a darker side of the magical world shows itself to her. The series follows the girl as she watches other girls who've chosen that path, being pulled on by both those who wish for her to take up that life and those who don't, and the decision that she eventually comes to all on her own.

I... actually like this synopsis for this series, really! Also it's still one of my favorite magical anime, the movies were great.

And these should be a warning claiming that you shouldn't try anything they do at home and that you should appreciate the laws of physics...

In the middle of this, she meets a bunch of weird-yet-lovable guys. They fight crime monsters by 'merging'. Everyone eventually lives happily ever after, just like in a fairy tale.
