COLORS CHAT #8

again by the lovely Casey.
It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself and ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!
Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. For cards, however, your initial post will need to be six sentences. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.
Today's topic:
Let's talk about love! In particular, I wanna talk about your ships. Your friendships, your relationships, your hateships. ...I do of course mean in fandom! Tell me about how much you adore Mario and Princess Peach or how much you think Wario and Daisy would make the bestest best friends of all time. No ship bashing here, no need to put down other ships to bring up your own.
For this game there's a super special set of prizes. For each comment before the end of the day on February 14th (11:59:59 pm MST), you will get one red crayon!
If those prizes weren't cool enough, then here's something else. Talk about one ship (friend, love, hate) in particular. Make it as long as you want. If they are in colors, you will get two random cards, one from each of their decks, in addition to your other prizes. WOW.
Please keep all comments civil and polite. You might disagree with someone, but please do not start a flame war. THANK YOU and enjoy your weeks!

I'm filthy. I'm horrible. I am a monster--a shipping monster. I love romantic relationships, friendships, family relationships. OT3s. Unhealthy relationships that can be examined both critically and enjoyably. I love examining how people work together in fiction! it's my favorite part of media consumption and of writing. I think a ship really works for me (of any flavor) is when one person in the relationship has something they rely on the other person for--not in a life-altering way, but even something as simple as only showing that other person a certain part of their personality.
But if I am into shipping it romantically, then I REALLY ship it romantically. I'll go all the way. Hardcore OTP-touting (but I'm also a multishipper). Most of the pairings I get into end up being F/F: I watch a lot of media with primarily female casts and also I just find myself more invested in female characters and their interactions with each other.
It's hard to narrow it down to just one ship, but I have been thinking about this one A LOT lately: I really love the dynamic that Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki from Madoka Magica have. Depending on the circumstances, I definitely ship them, but what makes them so appealing to me is that they have an amazing relationship no matter what it is. They are sooooo close and really...happy when they are around each other, which I think sometimes gets lost in everything else that happens in that series. And they're willing to do a lot for each other; I think they understand each other in a way that people who have known each other for a long time do. Also Sayaka is such a like, enormous goober...around Madoka. What a cute child.
