It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself and ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!

Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. For cards, however, your initial post will need to be six sentences. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.

Today's topic:

Let's talk about love! In particular, I wanna talk about your ships. Your friendships, your relationships, your hateships. ...I do of course mean in fandom! Tell me about how much you adore Mario and Princess Peach or how much you think Wario and Daisy would make the bestest best friends of all time. No ship bashing here, no need to put down other ships to bring up your own.

For this game there's a super special set of prizes. For each comment before the end of the day on February 14th (11:59:59 pm MST), you will get one red crayon!

If those prizes weren't cool enough, then here's something else. Talk about one ship (friend, love, hate) in particular. Make it as long as you want. If they are in colors, you will get two random cards, one from each of their decks, in addition to your other prizes. WOW.

hahahahaha why are you making me talk about ships I'm <small>ing this so that it isn't a billion pages long

Okay so, I think one of you - maybe two - might now who I am on plurk. So you two know what's coming: I AM TRASH. My standards aren't very demanding, but I'm disgusting garbage and so are my standards. I can't stand happy, functional, loving relationships where nothing terrible ever happens. I like dysfunction and disagreement and disappointment and ughhhhhh HOW it's disgusting can be anything. I like all trash! It could be happy people thrown into hell, or they start their relationship based on a terrible misunderstanding that destroys them all later, or a power-manipulation scenario where the weaker one has to tolerate the strong one via Plot Reasons and grows to be stronger because of it and may-or-may-not kill said significant other.

Or hatemance! Hatemance is wonderful to me, but only if it's done well. It can't just be OH THIS CHARACTER HATES THIS ONE AND NOW THEY HUMP. It needs to be something spiritual. Where it's a hate that's both mild and intense, where they can still function around one another in groups but then claw their nails through each other when they're alone, or the variant of abuse where they hate each other to pieces but have to stay together for some reason or another. Hi I'm Kat and I'm trash.

And I could vomit about my dysfunctional ships forever but I don't want to confuse anyone for the card thing, which means I'm limited to my decks but I actually have one that also ties into my shipping antics but okay. Just for statement, I am notoriously difficult to lure into new fandoms. I can't slide in as easily as some people do and I don't really like being active in the fandom-side things, or actually join them at all, so hey.

I was lured way back when into reading Medaka Box because I was told there was a dysfunctional ship in it, and jesus christ if Kumagawa and Ajimu aren't the current winners of the olympic gold medal in dysfunctional relationship madness. They hate each other, except the other is the most important person to them, except they constantly hurt and berate each other physically emotionally and mentally, except they dated once and got along splendidly, except now they never want to be around each other again, except they stay around each other and get along pretty well, except one was murdered by the other and wasn't forgiven, except they were forgiven so they get along, except they hate each other, but they don't?

I mean, NGL Sebastian Moran/M from Sharnoth is my infinitely-worse-relationship jam, but Moran doesn't have a deck SO we'll shut up about that one preemptively.
