COLORS CHAT #3

again by the lovely Casey. hey look at me go i'm on time wow.

It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself and ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!

Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. For cards, however, your initial post will need to be six sentences. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! As a bonus everyone who talks with someone else will get 2 pieces of candy! Yay!

Today's topic:

What new animes are you hoping pop up? What kind of story line, setting, characters, and creatures would you like to see? Are there video games you hope will become animes some day?

Please keep all comments civil and polite. You might disagree with someone, but please do not start a flame war. THANK YOU and enjoy your Saturday!

I don't really have expectations for anime. I just see what's coming up for the season, read their reviews and decide. I am quite new to the anime world so I'm still watching old-school stuff like Bleach, Ranma 1/2 and Naruto. Then again, I'm trying to be open to new animes except if it's too hentai-y (LOL). For example, thought I'd hate sports anime but when I watched Kuroko no Basuke, dude, I was so hooked I couldn't stop to save my life.

Ehrm, not really since I don't play enough video games to know. I heard SAO is based off an MMO or something like that and I still have yet to watch it.

SAO is based off a light novel series! Which I hear continues after the anime leaves off, and is apparently better than the anime -- but that's the case with most source material for anime, I suppose.

I think going in with no predetermined expectations is really the best way to decide, as long as you don't let the reviewers' opinions influence yours too much. I feel like a lot of people go in expecting what they watch to be this, that, and the other, and it tends to color their final judgment of it. It's kinda refreshing to hear someone say they're watching old school stuff too, actually. XD
