  (Un)Favourite Characters  

That's right, I brought in the big guns. Today, talk about your favourites or your unfavourites! There are several ways you can do this. Combinations are as follows:

• Talk about 1 favourite male and 1 favourite female
• Talk about 1 unfavourite male and 1 unfavourite female
• Talk about 1 favourite female and 1 unfavourite female
• Talk about 1 favourite male and 1 unfavourite male

Do you see what I'm going for here? Mostly, we're trying to avoid gender bias! Female characters tend to be unpopular in lots of places, and that is sad, because ladies are aces. So let's be positive or negative in equal turns, please. You're welcome to draw from more than one bullet point so long as you keep everything balanced!

Also, the term 'unfavourite' is pretty ridiculous, feel free to replace it with something that. Actually makes sense. Like "characters I can't stand". That's pretty accurate to its supposed meaning.

There are very few characters I dislike, and in my favorite series there are practically none of those -- which is why I'll talk about positives alone here!

FAVORITE MALE:
Yuusei Fudou from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. I'm easily drawn to stoic characters, as well as to people with serious parental issues and SHOUNEN PROTAGS. Now slam all those three together (and much more, but we'll get to it) and that's Yuusei. Calm and collected genius mechanic, but also a passionate duelist and a loyal friend. Hilarious failure at social gatherings but Messiah to all living things all the same. There's his severe Guilt Complex which causes him to blame his father (and by extension, himself) for the deaths of thousands innocent people... And on the other hand, amazing inner strength. It's kind of difficult to put it into words, so you'd have to see it yourselves! which is the least subtle enabling ever

... He also has a horrible sense of humor sometimes, but that's okay, I still love him.

FAVORITE FEMALE:
C.C. from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. She may seem almost passive for most of the time, simply letting things happen and just observing them, but what else can you do after having lived for centuries? Her apparent indifference, along with the mystery that surrounds her are things that sure caught my attention early on, and I only grew to like her more and more. In addition to one hell of a past, she's got... attitude, let's call it. Yes. Not to mention she's absolutely badass once she decides to take action, too.

Also I share her love for pizza. Mmm. Pizza.

That said, I'll be taking stardust06 for male and black rose01 for female!

Ooo, it's nice to see someone with such a positive attitude! My only experience with Yuusei is in TAS's movie, but I unabashedly adore him in it, so. :x Pizza is also good, om nom nom.
