Valentine's Day Chocolate Stand

Hi players, would you like to buy some chocolate for your loved ones or friends? Or maybe some for complete strangers whose day you'd like to brighten? This Valentine's Day Chocolate Stand is here to accomodate all your needs!



Here's what we have on sale:


the Small Box! Price - 5 cards


the Big Box! Price - 10 cards


the Mega Box! Price - 25 cards

Grab one or more of these delicious boxes full of choice cards! Remember though that you are not supposed to take them for yourself! Hand them out to others, that's the Valentine's Day spirit! And remember to share the love with as many people as you can! Remember that kindness will be repaid!

RULES

♥ A Chocolate Box allows you to take a specific number of choice cards (character or special), the same as the number of cards you need to purchase one (so for example a Small Box would allow you to make five gifts) but all of these must be given as gifts to other players. You can't take a card from the box for yourself.

♥ To buy a box, leave a comment requesting one using the appropriate form. You can buy more than one in one comment

♥ You can't add these cards to your card count or mark these gifts on your sketchpad.

♥ You may buy each box ONCE and you can only give ONE gift to one person. If you have more than one box, this rule is still in effect - if you gave a gift from the Small Box to a player, you can't gift them again using Big Box or Mega Box

♥ After you've used up the choice cards from your box, comment in THIS thread with a list of people you gifted and what cards you gave them to be rewarded for your kindness (the prize will be bigger than the cost of the box so it's worth it!)

♥ BONUS CHALLENGE - if you still have some unused kindness and would like to give people more gifts, we encourage it as well! During the event, for every 5 individual players you give your own cards as gifts to, you will receive two random crayons. It doesn't matter whether you gifted them cards from the Boxes or not. You can claim these in THIS thread. Please provide links.


The Valentine's Day Chocolate Stand, as well as the Bonus Challenge are open for two weeks, till Friday, February 14th to Friday, February 28th. Have fun!

I may not be caffeinated enough and as such a little derpy, but the cards we turn in to buy a box don't have to be the ones we gift people, right?

No, the ones you turn in will be sent to Recycled Art after the event ends

How do we give people gifts from the box? Do we just… tell them we're giving them a card, do we pick what card we're giving them, do we have to get the cards first…?

Yes, that's it. Once you receive a coupon, you can just go to people's card posts, present te coupon and give them any card, you don't have to claim it anywhere or wait for approval. You only have to list these cards later when applying for rewards.

Yes, you can! You can even buy all three at once if you wish.

OKAY I think I'm just not awake yet, but the cards we gift people don't have to... Come from our trade pile, right? 9_9 They're just choice cards specific to this event that we pass out to others.

this was probably answered somewhere and i'm just missing it, but do these gifts count for this month's pot of gold requirement?

I asked Deli since it's her decision to make as she is modding PoG this month and she said that these gifts do not count, since you are not giving out your own cards from trade pile earned in February. However, gifts done for the bonus task would count as long as they follow all other PoG rules!

Are we limited on the number of cards from a single deck we can give? Like, if I gave someone a musket01, I couldn't give someone else musket02?

No, there are no limits like this!

As long as your total is no more than one of each box, you absolutely can!

This would be recommended but I'm not going to hunt anyone down for not doing it since you have to present a list of cards you gave and to whom anyway while turning in the coupon

If I give someone something out of my trade pile in return for a card from a box (like here), would it count as a trade or a gift on my end? I'm guessing the former, but I wasn't sure since it doesn't count as a trade for the other person.

I'd say that this would count as a gift, since the other card is a gift and it would be strange if it was a trade for one person and gift for another. You can use this for the bonus task.

So um, if you give a card to a player not knowing that they already have it and you only find this out after you've submitted the box for rewards, is it okay to swap what card you're giving them after this point...?
