This was it. This was day that Mikan was waiting for. Being the youngest wasn’t always the easiest and she was eager to prove herself by cooking up a delicious meal before everyone came home, and now that they were all out of the house...well, she didn’t know the next time she’d have a chance, so it was best to get started quickly! After peeking around the corner to make sure Kurocchi and Shirocchi were still asleep, she pulled out the cookbook she’d been planning to use: An Adventure in French Cooking: How to L’Orange with the Best. Of course, she had already picked out the ingredients on an earlier shopping trip, so she turned to the page and went to her secret hiding spot to pull out the oranges, the main ingredient...but what she found instead was too shocking! All that remained were orange peels! How was she going to make a dinner for everyone without her favorite flavor?
