Hello guys and welcome to the next issue of Colors Musical Magazine! During July and August (that is, during the signups for the Battle of the Bands and the event itself) I'll be posting new issues of Colors Musical Magazine for you! It will mostly contain articles about the history of the previous Colors League events and interviews with the participating Colors characters. After every article, there will be one little question for you with a chance to win a small prize!

Third degree burns and ER visits are decidedly not fun, so I'd err on the side of safety.

I think the injuries (or worse) and possible law suits thanks to faulty equipment are a lot less fun, so I'm going to have to be practical and say that she should definitely get safer equipment.

As a technical theatre professional (kind of) I am well acquainted with the concept of sacrificing safety for art, but also with the concept of being as safe as you can manage! If you can afford it, Midorin, you really should get something less dangerous, but if the only thing that will help you reach your artistic goals is something unsafe... who cares if a few band members blow up!

Although I am personally a fan of explosions, collateral damage miiiight be a tad much on this one. So in this case, safety first!

Consider the threshold of damage you're willing to risk, and then replace any equipment that doesn't fit below it, of course! If it's just gonna scorch a few outfits, then who cares, but if it's going to kill a bandmember, you gotta consider the price of replacing good talent these days.
