Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
Colors turns 15 years old this month, can you believe it?! Let's celebrate this momentous anniversary by looking back at some series from Colors' opening year: 2010!
After getting fired from his latest position, samurai-turned-ronin Masanosuke is desperate for work. He's a skilled swordsman, but his cowardly, socially awkward personality always gets in the way of his talent. As luck would have it, he catches the eye of this man, who offers him a job as his bodyguard. You see, he's having "a little trouble" with someone, so he asks Masanosuke to watch his back when he goes to meet them. When the meeting ends with his new employer collecting a ransom, Masanosuke has to ask, "Are we the baddies?" So begins Masanosuke's new life with the Five Leaves crew: kidnappers with, if not hearts of gold, gold nonetheless. Let's hear the clip...
"How's your bodyguard job going?"
"So far, so good. The shop is doing well, and I hope to be of use to them. Oh, yeah. I heard you do bodyguard duty for a brothel."
"I'm just freeloading. Once you're done with this job, I'll refer you to Katsuraya."
"To that brothel? Thanks, but I'll decline. I'd like to continue working for Oomiya."
"Well, our next victim is Oomiya."
"Huh?"
"We'll abduct their master."
"But there doesn't seem to be anything wrong there."
"I told you that I'm not interested in any chivalry. We target dysfunctional families so that nothing can be traced back to us. Oomiya is pretty wicked, too. If we just blackmail them, they will kill us. Well, they just happen to be merchants. Usually we go after the vassals of shoguns. They wouldn't dare report something like that."
"What's your objective?"
"Money."
"Money?"
"Everyone has their own circumstances. Just like you."
