Pot of Gold 131
Introduction
Pot of Gold is a monthly game. The objective of the Pot of Gold is to complete different 'tasks' that will be different every month. You'll get small rewards for completing them individually, but receive bonuses if you manage to complete all of them. How much of the rainbow can you complete?This month's theme is... Cookie Run Kingdom!!
Rules
☆ Everything collected and turned in for these tasks must be done and logged in between May 1st and May 31th. You get one month and one month only, use it wisely.☆ When commenting here after completing a task, make sure you label your subject with Completed:, as well as the number of the task you finished.
☆ Please give me a link to your logs with every comment you make. Also, make sure you link me all the stuff that I need to check.
☆ I will be able to pass out most of the prizes (excluding the grand prize) before the end of the month, so please tell me (with a note in your comment) if you want them earlier.
☆ Pot of Gold tasks can only be turned in when the round is open, so that means that after 12:01 PM GMT on June 1st, you can't turn in anything even if your tasks were completed and logged in the correct time!
☆ You can format your comment however you prefer. Veth has posted a lovely code here that you can use if you'd like.
☆ If you are using a coupon for your rewards - please link it somewhere I can see so that I can process it when giving out rewards!
Red Task
Pomegranate Cookie has been through a lot. As a young priestess to the Sacred Pomegranate Tree, she had foretold her fate and ended up following the evil Dark Enchantress Cookie. I wonder if her mirror can foretell any of our futures?Task: Bring in cards spelling 'MIRROR' earned in May. These cards must also be either red or orange in color! The cards must start with the letters. You will lose these cards.
Reward: 8 random new cards and 5 crayons.
Orange Task
Don't be fooled by her elegant and graceful looks, Red Osmanthus Cookie is prideful and a bit vain. But can you blame her? She is surrounded by admirers and has fans all over the kingdom. Although she is an amazing pipa player, not everyone is as obsessed over her as she is for her sister Golden Osmanthus Cookie. I guess everyone has something they are passionate about!Task: What is your passion? What are you a major fan of? Is there a series your hyper-fixated on at the moment? Or a game or band that even after all of these years, you can't stop yapping about? Tell us about your big interest!
Reward: 10 random cards.
Yellow Task
Oh! Look up in the sky! Why, its Stormbringer Cookie! She is a god of thunder and storms, thanks to the help of her divine weapon the almighty Heaven Splitter! Well, I like to think us cookies down on earth are pretty impressive too. Maybe we should show her how productive we can be?Task: Use at least 5 services this month. (List here)

Green Task
Wind Archer Cookie looks like he is a bit serious about his mission to protect the Millennial Tree Cookie, he actually has quite a number of friends and aquantences. He remembers all life in the forest after all; big or small! Maybe we can be his friends as well, and help lighten his duties by mastering some decks?Task: Master two decks this month. Primary tier players only have to master one deck.
Reward: 13 random cards.
Blue Task
Don't be fooled by her carefree attitude, Mozzarella Cookie is quite cunning and is the one who presides over the Marzipan Cookies. She is an enthusiast of all sorts of games, I wonder if she would like Colors TCG? Perhaps we can show her all the different cards and how the game works!Task: Level up once OR gain 100 cards this month.
Reward: 7 random new cards.
Purple Task
Prune Juice Cookie always has a foxy smile on his face, it really makes him stand out from the softer and sweeter students at Parfaedia Institute. No wonder he could use his charms and theatrics to persuade you to buy all of his potions. He seems to be brewing a new potion right now (Maybe that's why it smells like plums?) Though, it appears he is missing a few ingredients. Maybe you can help him out? Task: Bring in 5 cards that feature food earned in May. You will lose these cards.
Reward: 15 random cards.
Brown Task
Here she is, Caramel Arrow Cookie, a cookie made of brown sugar! She was the First Watcher of the Dark Cacao Kingdom (Though was demoted for a time thanks to Affogato Cookie's meddling), and takes her job seriously. Though, if Caramel Arrow Cookie is visiting our kingdom, then I guess she must be far away from the Dark Cacao Kingdom. She might be homesick, perhaps we could cheer her up with an image of a landscape with a lot of frosting (snow). Task: Bring an image of a snowy landscape from a Color's applicable series (Eastern Animation/Comic/Game.) It can have trees, houses, people- anything is fine, it just needs to feature a lot of snow!
Reward: 12 random cards.
Gray Task
Huh, this cookie doesn't look very gray to me. Infact- I don't think this is an ordinary cookie?! Its clearly too fasionable and well loved by Cake Hounds. Oh- its one of those Player Cookies, I see! I guess any one can be a Cookie if they put their mind to it, even us! Lets decorate ourselves up with delicious frosting and toppings and become the best Cookie we can be!Task: "Decorate" your comment on 15 different game rounds this month (May 2025). This could be with colored text, emojis, glitter, what ever you want! (Just make sure the game's host can understand your answer is all.)
Reward: 10 random cards + 10 crayons.

It's gotta be Hyouka! From initially finding it too slow/boring as the episodes came out on a weekly basis, to giving it another shot midseason and then becoming completely taken with the wonderful dynamics between the characters and the ideas the series explores (talent, skill, self-worth, duty etc)... the show really meant a lot to me in my 20s. I wrote so much fic for it, ran a little discord community for it and even organised a community zine for it to celebrate the anime's 10th anniversary and to honor the lives of the KyoAni staff who died in the arson attack in 2019. Love the characters and ships so much, and the ideas explored in the original novel by Honobu Yonezawa too! I loved it so much I bought the Taiwanese editions of the original novels and read them using a Chinese dictionary lol (to be fair Chinese is my second language but I really suck at it and haven't used it since graduating). Anyway. Always game to yap about Hyouka and I want to mass deck the series + add more character decks!
