Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.
It's that time again - the Seiyuu Guess last year retrospective! Each January we take a look back at shows from the previous year. Let's check out some great series and seiyuu from 2024!
This week we're headed all the way back to fourteenth century Japan. As the shogun's heir, this boy lives a charmed life in the peaceful city of Kamakura. Although he's not skilled in politics or martial arts, there is one thing he's good at: running away - from classes, training, and responsibility in general. It's a talent that comes in handy when Takauji Ashikaga, one of his father's vassals, stages a bloody coup. With the help of the shady shaman Yorishige, our boy vows revenge against the man who betrayed his clan. Let's hear the clip...

"I'm okay. The blade hit the tree. It's just a cut."
"Why did you save me when I was going to abandon you? You could have run away by yourself."
"I doubted you earlier. I can't apologize to you if you're dead. My mental fortitude is weak, and I don't have what it takes. In the future, I may doubt you again. But I promise, I will never betray you."
"What..."
"I like escaping with you. With you and your tricks, I can escape from strong demons I could never escape from on my own. Thinking about it that way, I can't help but get excited. Even if you're ever cornered, or if you ever betray me, when we run away, we run together!"
