I... actually really hate Christmas music due to sheer overexposure at work. xD But music with a "wintery" ambience is really nice. Some anime or video game bgms capture it with twinkly noises, wind, bells, xylophone... that sort of thing. And those kinds of songs, I could stand to listen to, even if the melody has been done to death by Christmas. So by proxy, I guess Trans-Siberian Orchestra counts too? I don't have any youtube-able examples tho, sorry.

I love Hanukkah music so much, you have no idea. Here's Mi Y'malel for people who like the traditional music, Ocho Kandelikas for more of a Sephardic vibe, and Candlelight by the Maccabeats for some a capella pop.

hmm i don't have a good answer for this, i don't like christmas music! particularly because my bf's dad is obsessed with christmas and he plays christmas music every day, nonstop, all the time during december. aaa it's quite taxing LOL. i uh... like the nutcracker music though? classical music is nice.

okay this is hyper-specific but when i was in 5th grade, my elementary school put on a production where all the 5th grade classes sang different songs based on holidays. my class got the one for hanukkah and it slapped ABSURDLY. it was SO GOOD. i have not been able to find it online- it might have been an original song honestly- but i know it was so fucking good and probably shaped a lot of my current-day taste in music. i repeat it slapped so much harder than it had any right to.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS MUSIC TBH... when i was little, my dad used to listen to christmas music like this (he's a history teacher so. of course he had a cd of 16th to 19th century christmas music) as well as more modern classics like frank sinatra and nat king cole. i used to play video games on the living room playstation while he chilled and listened to music, so in december i still sometimes play that kind of christmas music while i'm playing video games haha.

Most of the time I'm kind of 'over' holiday music, like, once it starts being overplayed and played way too early lol, but one song that I actually love and will listen to outside of the winter season is Last Christmas by Wham! I just love it so much haha, I'll even listen to it in the middle of summer, whereas I would never do that with any other Christmas song. Honorary mention also goes to Snow Halation.

like a lot of people the retail/food service christmas music fatigue is real, lol. but i do, despite everything, like carol of the bells! i also tend to really like wintery/snowy music in video games - i especially adore the circhester theme from pokemon sword and shield. it's so cozy!

Oddly enough, although my personal thoughts and beliefs trend more atheistic, I love religious Christmas music. I think I can attribute this to growing up playing the piano. My piano teacher was a very religious woman and every year around this time I'd learn a secular song and a religious one; I often found the religious ones easiest to play. My favorites is still Hark, The Hearld Angels Sing. (Cannot find a version I like on Youtube for the life of me, though.)

For a more secular song I like I would recommend Christmas, Bah Bug And Hum from Olive the Other Reindeer, one of my favorite Christmas movies. I watch it every year and I think this song is like 90% of the reason why. As I get older, I relate to the mailman character more and more.

I'm not a huge Christmas music fan due to being a band kid in high school who had to play the same songs year after year. But when I want to get into a festive mood, I like to put on my Elvis Christmas record or the music from the Nutcracker.

I love holiday songs! I work with a vocal arts organization and everyone has been singing Christmas music nonstop in my office for the past few months in preparation for the holiday concerts this week lol. Shout out to the ever-classic Jingle Bell Rock.

In terms of video game music, I really love the Toy Day themes from Animal Crossing. I have a lot of good memories of bringing the Gamecube game to my grandmother's house with my brother on Christmas eve and playing it after dinner, running around to try and find Jingle before we had to go to bed for Christmas morning.

Also, the best holiday song ever written by humans is the Idolmaster song Kami-sama no Birthday and yes I am serious.

I really don't like the Christmas holiday honestly. Working at a craft store for 6 years and having Christmas music blasted over the intercom starting Nov 1st has turned me off of Christmas music forever....However, I would say I love the water temple from Ocarina of Time level's music. I also love the ice level in twilight Princess Music too. The best soundtrack for winter-sih time that I absolutely love is probably gonna be Stardew Valley. Winter season music in that game was very soothing and I love playing that season the best.

I enjoy Burl Ives's Christmas album the best, but thanks to Spotify I really like Darlene Love's version of Marshmallow World. It is SUCH A BOP! I usually really enjoy Christmas music and it's a hallmark of the season, but year after year I have gotten a bit tired of it. Still, I think I generally like it because they are such happy songs; I just also like to mix things up a bit. In terms of anime Christmas songs, of course you can't go without mentioning Snow Halation as many others did. But I also enjoy Holy Night from Toradora.

It's cliche, but All I Want for Christmas is You is such a good Christmas pop song and a modern day classic. I also want to put in a shout out for Michael Buble's no homo cover of Santa Baby because it's so funny. Youtube comments are the cesspool of the internet but...not on this video.
