Forest of Drizzling Rain just had a Steam remake announced! I'm hoping that like Angels of Death (by the same creator) it'll have an official English version as well. The translation of the original FoDR was... very literal and awkward. I would love it if the Steam version got new people into the canon. And if they included some of the bonus material from the manga that would be great! (Especially since the last volume of the manga still hasn't been translated to English... The yukata date looks super cute...)

so apparently higurashi will be having the hou+ release soon (i'm hoping. we get news at the end of the month.) so i'm trying my best to be excited for that, along with the two manga spinoffs that are coming out this month. i've also been super enjoying the meguri manga as it's been so much better than sotsu thus far but i don't want to have my hopes dashed...

other than that, i'm excited for the pokemon arceus game! i've been pretty disappointed with how the diamond and pearl remakes look so hopefully the arceus game makes up for my immense disappointment.

i really need to read the meguri manga... i feel like sotsu was definitely trying to set up for something really good and then it just kinda didn't deliver.

i'm looking forward to the pokemon arceus game too! it looks so different from any of the pokemon games i've played, so i'm excited to see how they handle it. the regional varieties they've shown so far are Very Good, and i'm looking forward to seeing what multiplayer capabilities it'll have. a lot more of my friends are interested in getting it compared to past pokemon releases, so it'd be nice to at least be able to trade and battle them.

i think i'm looking forward to granblue fantasy: relink the most! its been in development hell for who knows how long but they finally announced a release date for sometime in 2022 and i can't wait. granblue versus was nice but fighting games aren't really my thing so it'll be nice to see these characters in a console rpg game in full 3D and not just a gacha game. here's hoping for another update in next month's stream!

also found out hikaru utada is coming out with a new album in 2022 so another thing to look forward to heh

i'm not sure when exactly to expect it, but i'm looking forward to the next installment of your turn to die! i've been pleasantly surprised by this series at every turn, and i've grown quite attached to the cast. also the last installment did not have nearly enough keiji for me to feel satisfied.

i'm also looking forward to thanksgiving break! i'm in college and living on campus right now, so the break will give me a chance to visit home and spend the week with my family and pets. i will also get the chance to retrieve my nintendo switch and try out the new acnh updates. :^)

i'm obviously looking forward to stone ocean anime in a couple of weeks! my favorite jjba part and i also want to collect a lot of jolyne and hermes merch lol.

i'm also excited for rune factory 5 releasing in english in march! i've always loved the rune factory series even if the early ones are a little janky and rf4 is one of my favorite games ever. from what i've heard rf5 isn't quite as good but i'm still going to play a ton of it. i'm also very grateful to the xseed team for pushing to implement gay marriage for the first time in RF!

Really excited about the new Star Wars show, Kenobi!! And I'm also excited to catch up a little on the MCU. I have yet to see Black Widow, Shang-Chi, or the Eternals. Been really looking forward to the latter two of those. Also excited about the upcoming Hawkeye show. Not to mention the next Spider-Verse movie. Or the next MCU Spider-Man movie, considering the trailers I've seen.

Uh, I guess IRl im looking forward to two BJD to arrive. I have two Ring Dolls on order: Xie Lian (will be shipped out this month) and Lexi (Ill prob have him shipped out in December). The later I am more exicted for because I dont mind giving him new wigs/eyes/ect vs like Xie Lian, who much like my MDZS BJDs, will be display only. Also looking forward to the MXTX novel releases (EN release). Book 1 of all 3 come out I believe next month? I have Kor, Jap, and Chn releases, so I am excited to add them to my collections hehehe.

TL;DR Jun is just hyped for merchandise... thats all.

i'm eagerly waiting for the entertainment district arc of the demon slayer anime to air. i'm still enjoying rewatching the mugen train content (because apparently seeing it multiple times in theaters wasn't enough), but the entertainment district arc was one of my favorites in the manga. tengen is one of my favorite hashira too, so i'm looking forward to seeing more of him in the anime (bonus: i can collect images to donate for a tengen deck soon)

irl my brother's bachelor party is coming up, and i'm looking forward to that. my brother moved away for work so it's been a while since we've hung out, and part of the party is going to involve getting kbbq which i am ALWAYS hyped for. i'm not the best man so i don't know the rest of what's planned, but kbbq is enough to make the night for me. and seeing my brother again i guess.

I'm usually not big on 3D platformers, but the new Kirby game that got announced recently looks absolutely adorable. I'm a sucker for Kirby games anyway, but this one just looks really cute and fun.

Also, the Pokemon Sinnoh remakes are out this week and I've been looking forward to them for months. Will I pick a starter other than Piplup? Probably not, lol.

I am SUUUUUPER excited for the upcoming Mahoyaku 2nd Anniversary story! And for them implementing 1st Anni as main story 1.5 next year! With full voices! For anyone who doesn't wizards, let me just explain: they fed every single ship the best food and the story was INCREDIBLE. The voice acting for several of the more intense scenes are going to be ridiculous... There's a lot of yelling. I'm ready. Soon(ish). Also Mahoste closing night is coming up this weekend! I'm sad the run is so short, but it has been so joyous and I love every single actor. A bunch of them tweeted about rolling in the anniversary gacha and getting JACK ALL so it's really funny... They're human like us. /single tear

What else am I excited for... MY BIRTHDAY! Which is the day before Mahoyaku anni (do you see my priorities), so the 25th! We're going to see a friend for my bday and I'm very excited to see them! All our important days are in November! I met my wife in November, we got married in November, and both of our birthdays are in November... plus as a bonus Mahoyaku is our fave game, so like... It was meant to be! Oh, and I'm watching the currently running Touken Ranbu musical for my bday too! It only got a very short run in 2020 because of the pandemic so this is like a rerun a little, but since they barely got to start last time it's like the first time! One of my actor faves is in it. I *LOVE* 2.5D stages!!

Anyway I'm gonna be insufferable for the rest of the month yeaaaahhhhh!!!!

I'm excited for quite a few things if I'm being honest. For video games, it should be no surprise that I'm looking forward to the Sinnoh remakes as well as Legends Arceus. I'm also looking forward to new Tales and Legend of Heroes entries as well as future Genshin patches. In regards to anime, though, I can't think of much off the top of my head.

For irl things, I am going on vacation in December.

I'll be honest, this time of year tends to be a huge struggle for me so mostly I'm just trying to coast through. I haven't really been paying much attention to what is due to come out lately. Though I think maybe the new Spiderman is due to come out relatively soon???? So probably that if I am remembering that right.

I am also at least looking forward to being able to see some family around Christmas time that I don't get to see much (and haven't been able to the last couple years because of covid). I'm also looking forward to Friendsgiving next weekend and eating lots of stuffing!
