Pot of Gold 95
Introduction
Pot of Gold is a monthly game. The object of the Pot of Gold is to complete different 'tasks' that will be different every month. You'll get small rewards for completing them individually, but receive bonuses if you manage to complete all of them. How much of the rainbow can you complete?
This month's theme is... Touhou Project!
Rules
☆ Everything collected and turned in for these tasks must be done and logged in between November 1st and December 1st. You get one month and one month only, use it wisely.☆ When commenting here after completing a task, make sure you label your subject with Completed:, as well as the number of the task you finished.
☆ Please give me a link to your logs with every comment you make. Also, make sure you link me all the stuff that I need to check.
☆ I will be able to pass out most of the prizes (excluding the grand prize) before the end of the month, so please tell me (with a note in your comment) if you want them earlier.
☆ Pot of Gold tasks can only be turned in when the round is open, so that means that after 12:01 PM GMT on December 1st, you can't turn in anything even if your tasks were completed and logged in the correct time!
☆ You can format your comment however you prefer. Veth has posted a lovely code here that you can use if you'd like.
Red Task
Reimu manages the Hakurei shrine, which runs on donations. Despite her best efforts, she never seems to get any visitors. Please help Reimu out this month and stop by, give the shrine a few coins, and remember to grab a souvenir for yourself!
Task: Turn in 5 yellow cards earned this month. You will lose these cards.
Reward: 15 random cards + 1 crayon
Orange Task
Suika is always here for a good time, but her nature as an oni means that sometimes her idea of fun ends up with her drunkenly knocking down walls and destroying tables. For the structural integrity of the neighboring buildings, could you guide Suika to some less destructive fun things?
Task: Participate in 20 games this month.
Reward: 10 random cards + 2 crayons
Yellow Task
Unlike Reimu, Marisa wasn't born with any godly power--she's built her way up to being the incredibly strong magician that she is with hard work, persistence, and many sleepless nights of studying and practice. Demonstrate your own hard work!
Task: Master 2 decks this month. Players in the primary tier only need to master 1 deck.
Reward: 5 random cards + 3 crayons
Green Task
Sanae used to live in the Outside World before living in Gensokyo, and she's still a fan of anime, manga, and video games in her heart despite her divine duties. Being in a world cut off from the internet means she no longer gets to keep up with recent series, so help Sanae out and tell her all about some of the newest ones!
Task: Turn in 10 cards from series that have been released from 2016 - 2021. You will lose these cards. It would help immensely if you could list the series and release year in your post, please!
Reward: 20 random cards + 1 crayon
Blue Task
Cirno never aims for the top...because she's already the best of the best, in her mind. Whether you're the Strongest Fairy™ or in Rainbow tier, you can still improve, though, so gain some cards and do your best with Cirno.
Task: Level up once, or gain 100 cards this month.
Reward: 10 random cards + 1 crayon
Purple Task
Byakuren is the head nun of the local Buddhist temple, and looking for new acolytes. If that's a bit much for you, though, she won't turn down someone looking to chat about magic. Or motorcycles. Introduce Byakuren to some new faces!
Task: Trade with 20 people this month. Primary tier players only need to trade with 12.
Reward: 15 random cards + 1 crayon
Brown Task
Running Gensokyo's competing tengu newspapers, Aya and Hatate have an ongoing rivalry and can't seem to agree on much at all. Aya wants the latest news at all costs, and Hatate is determined to beat her but prefers the working-from-home approach. Help out Aya, or help out Hatate with either one of their latest projects--but you can only help one of them.
Task: Talk about something you're looking forward to happening in the future, or something exciting that's happened to you recently. If you can't think of anything, feel free to take something little and embellish the hell out of it like a certain reporter would. OR Submit a picture of a character you enjoy with a news-worthy caption attached to it. Yes, this can be stupid.
Reward: 5 new release cards
Gray Task
Sakuya is an ever-diligent maid, always ready to carry out the tasks her mistress asks of her, even the most ridiculous ones. As such, she has a wide range of skills, and she's always looking to broaden her skillset just in case. Could you show Sakuya around so she can pick up some basic art and color skills?
Task: Use 5 services this month.
Reward: 5 random cards + 1 crayon
Rewards
☆ You can earn up to a total of 80 cards, 5 new release cards and 10 crayons for completing the tasks for this month.
☆ Completing all the tasks will earn you an additional 15 random cards, 5 random crayons and the GRAND PRIZE!
