It's April! The start of another new month! Tax season for many! I've finished filing my taxes. ♥ I would say I'm on top of things, but it's actually my dad who's on top of things. :D I hope everyone else is conquering those taxes too if you have taxes to do.

On a completely different topic from taxes, which is not a fun topic at all, this month, we have two new deckmakers, Hana and Zags! *claps* You can already admire some of their decks in this release. :) Thank you all who applied and all who expressed interest in helping! There were a great many applications. It was awesome (and even more so since I gave everyone such a short application period)! And oh so hard to make a decision. I kind of went back and forth for a good 2 hours before I could finally make a decision. :') I am hoping I will not have to call on back-up anytime soon, but I will definitely keep that post in mind in case we need back-up! So if you could keep your application up to date, that would be great~ (I don't know if screened comments can be edited?). If you have not submitted a deckmaker application but would like to, the application post for backups is open indefinitely. :D It is tagged under "mod" if anyone wishes to go looking for it at a later date.

Oh, oh, have you noticed that the website layout has changed? It's Aoi-sama time! :D ♥ Though I guess I can't really call this changing the layout since it's still the same layout. XD; Now that we have all 8 members of Colors though, we could perhaps have a layout featuring all of them one day. That would be very cool. :) Remember everyone, Design Shirocchi and Kurocchi! is open until April 22. Get those submissions of mascots in by then~. I can't wait to see everyone's ideas. I also have a half-made deck of Akai-san that's only missing around 5 images and the master badge. You all know what that means right? Submit more art and fic~!

Mm, for those of you who use TCG managers or would just like all of our cards at once, here is a zip of this month's new cards! Do people find this useful or not useful? Please let me know. :D

Lastly, another question for everyone! Would you mind seeing an animated deck? It would be of short, memorable scenes (there'd be a theme). I ask because animation might be annoying for some? :3 But I hope one deck won't be too intrusive. By answering this question, you may take one 04 character card. That means a card that ends with 04! :) (edit: This is the deck in question~. Feel free to share further thoughts!)

We have lots of decks this release, eeeee, pushing us quite a bit past the 1000 decks mark. I do believe last month's donate an extra orange or gray deck priviledge from Pot of Gold contributed to this. And all of our new members. :D It seems that Gray has pretty much caught up, Red has shot way ahead, and Orange is sadly trailing very, very far behind. (Mikan-tan cannot believe this blasphemy. Akai-san is smug in knowing that his color seems to be the most popular). So yeah. Again this month, it would be awesome indeed to see more orange decks donated. :D

I think an animated deck would look pretty cool! I love animated things in general so I know I'd be tempted to collect it for sure. XD I'll be taking classical04 as my 04 character choice card for answering if that's alright? \o/

Many thanks to all of the deckmakers for making so many great decks this month! I'll be taking naive05, psychiatrist02, ecstasy02, rhythm08, cocky17, shard06, reaper05, food02, gakuran14 (special), and Sailor Fuku01 (donated the image).

An animated deck would be pretty interesting, if only to see how it would pan out. I'd say go for it and see how well the reception is, and then if it gets some good input aim for some more in the future? taking hiwa04!

I would love to see an animated deck! I remember I saw it in the first LJ tcg and was absolutely in love with it, haha. Taking messiah04.

I think an animated deck would be really cool. I don't think a couple of animated decks among over 1000 regular decks would be very intrusive. Would they be horizontal or vertical like the rest of the cards?

About animated decks -- personally, I am not very excited about the idea. I have slow internet connection and it would probably take me ages to open a trade post if someone had many of them (if i understand correctly what you mean by animated deck lol). However, the idea is interesting and creative so i wouldn't mind but not something i'd be actually excited about. I'll be taking alien04, thank you.

There is a theme I have in mind. I wonder if I would be disappointing people with it. XD;; I didn't even think of cute animals, but goodness, that would be so cute. <3 Perhaps if we ever end up with more than one animated deck (I was only thinking of one...), we could have them not be part of the randomizer so only people who want them could get them... but that might not be as fun.
