colors_tcg | Anniversary Day 15 - Gotta Catch 'Em All!

WHOLE PLUSHIE SET IS TOO RELEVANT in that I have been very slowly collecting the dramatical murder plushes. I ...I don't have Virus and Trip though because, like, ok, on the very small chance toy story is real, do I want those in my house? (I will probably cave one day though because the lure of COLLECT THEM ALL is really big in me) Picture of the 6 I have!

In general I'm mostly a completionist in video games, but sometimes it bleeds over to the above. It's like an itch I can't scratch when I have all the dvds except one in a series, even if I can watch the other episodes on crunchyroll or have them downloaded or something. And if characters come in a 'set' (like with the dmmd boyfriends above) I hate buying only some of them -- so if I'm in artist alley I'm either buying all of a set of pins or none :(

So far colors has been a really good outlet for this urge because I can spontaneously go "What if I collect all the (series) decks" and then I can without, you know, it being money, unlike the plushies above...

Collection wise? TCG decks are pretty simple; it's normally Pokemon, Digimon, .hack and Megaman. As for other stuff, I don't really out and out collect things much anymore. I used to collect Pokemon cards along with Digimon cards and some animation sheets as well. I also used to put them on a set of shelves or a chest in my room.

As for tcg pages, I used to have them all listed out on one pages, but found it easier to just put individual pages as well. (Though this has sort of given me the idea to track down all of my old member cards if I've got them and put them all on one page!)

Yep. I feel like I've seen maybe one other person collect decks that were from different series, and those decks were all RP partners. I didn't really want to collect a normal mass deck, but then the idea hit me one morning. I didn't know about 75% of the characters whose decks I was collecting, but it's introduced me to some really cool series!

Also, I want to complete the Pokédex all by myself one day. I haven't done so yet. But soon. I will.

Most of the time, I really have to like a series to get all the figures/plushies, but I do have all of the Kuroko one coin figures except for the 3Q box, which I sort of regret, but hey, gotta save money. I did also manage to get all 6 figurines for Cyborg 009.
Otherwise, I'll pick a favorite character and buy their figure, especially since figures are pretty expensive. (Or, in the case of Free!, I'm going to get both Makoto and Haruka figures ..... oops) I don't collect plushies too much anymore, but sometimes I'll cave and buy one.
I don't collect Yu-Gi-Oh! or Pokemon cards anymore, but sometimes I'll buy a small pack of cards lmao I still have my binder full of cards!
I used to collect manga, too, and my bookshelf is still full of manga I don't read anymore.
I collect posters sometimes! I have quite a few that I still have to hang on my wall.
I display my figures literally anywhere I can fit them! But they mostly sit together, and have to be in a neat line and have a certain order. I'm so picky about them when I'm not even picky about the neatness of the rest of my room, oops.

As far as tcgs go, if I like most/all the characters that have decks from a certain fandom, I'll do a mass deck collection! For example, I love all the characters from Buso Renkin that currently have decks, which made me want to mass collect them.
I used to be in ... eleven? I think. TCGs, but now I'm only in three. I feel bad for quitting the others, but I didn't have time anymore. I do have a site for my cards, and I used to want to collect everything I was interested in, which is why I joined so many, haha.

I collect dolls and plushies, but my collection is on hold until I get a job and space to display them. I have some 18" (American Girl) dolls, and some fashion dolls. I have started a bit towards BJDs, if I can find them cheap. I'd like to do figures, but see the note about space.

Some of it is the urge to make things; I customize dolls and sew clothing and I'd like to start sewing plushies. Which also takes space.

The nice thing about virtual collections like Colors is that I only need to worry about server space, not shelf space.

I don't collect trading cards irl anymore, though I used to?? Uh but I play the mobile Love Live! game so maybe that counts, even though you can't trade cards 'w' gotta collect all the idols. As for online tcgs, well, this is the only one I'm in, but in terms of decks, I usually go for series and characters I like! I have quite a few mass decks now, which is partially my fault for donating so many idol decks.

As for other stuff, I collect merchandise in general, or as much as my paycheck allows! So not a lot very often ehe. I collect artbooks, manga, dvds and bds (for the artwork, so I can make icons......), I have a few Nakayoshi issues that have the AKB0048 manga in them? I'd love to collect figurines more often, but they're sadly expensive, but I have the Atelier Meruru 19 y/o Totori figurine! She currently sits on a shelf with my Sophie and Godoka petite nendos. I have a bunch of beanie babies still from when that was popular, and I have some g3 and older my little ponies as well c: Aside from a shelf or two, though, it's really messily organized, because I have a tiny room! So there's kind of artbooks all over the place and whatnot.

I used to collect Pokemon cards when I was younger, but I think I'm one of the few people who enjoyed playing the game and building decks more than I did collecting the cards. I like TCGs a lot, but no one I know really wants to play them--I've been thinking about getting into the Pokemon one, but it seems a bit pointless if I don't have anyone to play it with.

I collect dragons, usually as little figurines. Megablocks (a Lego alternative) used to run a Dragons series and I collected so many of those sets just for the dragons (and I still have a lot of the dragons... I need to fix one of them though because I broke its wing).

I was collecting Monster High dolls for a while but I haven't bought any since Christmas because I need to save my money for uni and while I like having them, they have increased in price since I bought them and there's very few new characters that I want because I don't often collect duplicates. (I have 24 in total, and 3 of those are 'duplicate' characters--so 21 characters alone.) There's a couple of dolls that I do want but they're still too expensive for me, and one of them's another duplicate. They're on one of my shelves, next to my manga collection (which is purely the Sailor Moon manga and the Cardcaptor Sakura omnibuses... I want xxxHolic and Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles as well, but probably not for a while yet because... money...).

This one is sort of unintentionally, but I'm a few books short of owning the entire Discworld collection (out of the main novels, although I have a few of the maps and information books). >_> I need to sit down and read them all again one day.

For TCGs, it's characters from series that I love or even RP, or in some cases, know from RP CR/teamnesia teams. RP is a big factor! But also my nostalgia.

I'm not hardcore into collecting anything irl... I have a lot of figurines, some of which are fancy and nicer than others! I have a bunch of talking Kamen Rider figures I am particularly proud of, from Den-O, though I don't have the full set sadly, and am not likely to complete it as they've been out of production for years and were costly when they were around.

Oh man, I spent so much on trading cards when I was little: I wanted ALL the Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, that I'd keep a folder full of cards on display separate from a main battling deck that I would actually play with. To me, it was half collecting Pokemon, and half to collect the cards for the art, because I loved seeing a page full of different eg. Pidgeys side by side. I've since stopped collecting them, but here I am still collecting pixel cards, so the sentiment never really goes away.

i'll take nil15! but, i don't really collect anything other than steam achievements! and that's really subjective based on the game, although i'm currently trying my hardest to get them all on borderlands 2 before borderlands pre-sequel comes out. let me tell you, it's not easy...

oh right, i used to collect pokemon and ygo cards as a kid. i don't anymore, but i still have them laying around in books in my closet and bed, haha.

I love to collect everything and anything Yu-GI-Oh ^p^ Absolutly from CDs, to the Cards of all language, to the Figures, to the Settei sets, everything possible! Its a VERY money heavy hobbie I found out, but I enjoy it a lot, so I do not mind at all.

I do display part of them, but mainly the figures, I have a lot i keep putting in storage until I move again or get a new orginization shelf. The parts I keep displayed are most of the figures and such (Both Mariks I left in the boxes, lack of room, and I put two of the old Prize figures from 1998 up on there, but even they had no room, its becoming a problem heheh.)

I collect actual TCGs, mostly Weiss Schwartz because of the anime series decks and I'm currently building a Nisekoi and Daybreak Illusion decks. I also have a semi-working Madoka deck and a Miku one as well, sob. I'm also planning on building Angel Beats! and Love Live! but WHAT IS MONEY

I also have a Vanguard deck so, there's that too.

I like to attempt to support the lesser-known series I follow by purchasing official merchandise, even if it means importing it from Japan and paying a lot extra when it comes to shipping and other fees. I own much of the older Kagerou Project merchandise, and I'm actually very proud to say I've supported it for such a long time. Nowadays, I mostly pick up anything from Mikagura School Suite + occasionally Shuuen no Shiori Project that I can. I also like to collect official merchandise of my favorite characters, I have two small figures of Mukuro (DR) and Adachi (P4) I keep by my computer. \\o// Lately, I've been trying to pick up a ton of official Persona 3 merch/rubber straps/figures as well, but.... SO MUCH MONEY... @_@

I've been into so many card games in my life. I did attempt to collect every Pokemon card until the sets kept coming and I finally gave up. I do still play the online Pokemon tcg, but you don't need real cards for that, so. I really love these pixel tcgs because they allow me to channel my obsessive collecting tendencies into something that doesn't cost money.

The only thing I currently collect irl is a certain san-x character, and I try to just focus on the plush releases. Luckily it isn't THAT popular, so it isn't too much to keep up with (so far). I do tend to buy a lot of anime merch, but I try to only get things I'll actually use, like phone straps and such.

And I'm taking unitone15!

When I have the money to spare, I buy One Piece Figurines. I have around 30-ish! I want more! one day my goal is to own one of the Megahouse figurines. All my figurines, One Piece or not, are on display on to of my bookshelf.

I'm pretty sure like 90% of the people here know that I'm super into YGO, and likely insane for trying to collect every single deck for it. I also actually buy cards when I can afford it and hell, back when I was still working, I'd drop $50 on specific cards from trollandtoad just to build decks. I have an entire set of plastic drawers with card boxes full of these cards, all sorted by monster type for monsters, or spell/trap types (all continuous spells are together, all counter-traps are together, etc.). But when I'm buying from newer packs, before I sort them into that system, I sort them by pack number until I'm ready to 'archive' then, so to speak, which means putting XYZ/Synchros/Fusions/Rituals/anything shiny in one binder and potential new decks in another binder with the rest separated in those boxes... I don't have a problem, what are you talking about...

Though back in my glory days of Pokemon, I sure as hell collected those cards too, but then when gen 3 came out and they changed the layouts of the cards and added things to it, I stopped bothering, but ended up diving headfirst into Sapphire and made it my most completed game to-date yet. (I'll probably do the same with ORAS comes out tbh...) I used to sort those by sets too, like all of my Fossil set together and Team Rocket together and all that.

but there it is, my embarrassing habit (and if this keeps up i'll end up doing the same for cardfight!! vanguard cards if i start buying them...). a-anyway, i'll be taking numbers15

There really isn't much else out there that I wanna collect like mad. If it's material, it probably costs too much to actively pursue. But at least with TCGs I don't have to feel guilty about squandering money on pretty things ~~I can just feel guilty about squandering time instead |D~~

I'm too cheap to have real collections, haha. Sometimes I'll make sure to have all the books in a series or something like that, because I haaaate having just one or two items from a collection missing if I've already bought the rest of them.

I used to collect a ton of stuff like Pokemon cards when I was younger and money was meaningless haha. Beanie Babies, Crazy Bones (does anyone remember those, wtf even), action figures...if it existed in the 90s I probably wanted it. Nowadays I spend my money on more expensive things like video games and tshirts and crap. Though I do still buy the occasional knickknack to display on my shelves or desk, like figurines or collectible cups and things like that.

ALSO ANY VIDEO GAME THAT HAS AN ACHIEVEMENT SYSTEM - HOW DARE YOU. I FEEL SO INCOMPLETE UNLESS I'VE GOTTEN ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS.

Outside of TCGs, there's not much that I collect—not because I wouldn't want to, but because my fandoms tend to be too obscure for official merchandise and the like, aha. If there were, though, I'd collect them like crazy. uwu

Otherwise, I try and get all the DVDs and manga/light novel volumes of series I really like. Though given the sheer size of Denyuuden, budget puts a damper on that...

i want to ~~catch~~ collect every pokemon plushie, I swear. I know theres far too many for me to succeed, but when i see cute ones... i want them. i want to fill the room with them and swim. i love pokemon plushies!!

though i'd settle for getting a set of the eeveelutions & hoenn starters. i've managed to get all of the kalos starters, so thats a good step in my book. maybe someday i'll be able to get all the starters, but i don't have the money to even get my "high priorities" right now, so its not really an option yet...
i also collect other cute plushies and various dolls & other toys, and i like having cards to shuffle around in my hands when i'm nervous so i nab neat cards when i can. ~~my favorite at the moment is a hello kitty playing card set i got for a buck at target~~

i keep my current (small) pokeplushie collection from over the years on one shelf of my bookshelf in the living room. sometimes my cat comes and sits with them and its adorable.

I find I do collect merchandise for anime I really like. I have all of Lucy's keys from Fairy Tail, and even bought a metal hoop to keep them on like she does. I can wear one as a necklace too, if I want.

I also have a Fuji plushie (in his little Seigaku uniform!) which I love, and I would like to collect all of them, but they don't do a set in that style and size. I can't even find an Eiji plush that's not tiny. But in theory, I loveeee plushies.

And in terms of TCG decks, I'm mas collecting Prince of Tennis! And I'm in the process of getting together a Resident Evil mass deck, because I must have them alllll ♥

When I was little I used to collect Pokemon cards, everytime I went to the store I always had to pack a pack of em up!

Otherwise, I just like collecting the manga volumes/dvds of series I really like. I don't really collect merchandise but it depends on the series and how obsessed I am with it. But I usually just end up with a few posters or keychains.

Obviously, I'm really into tcgs and I'll attempt to collect every character I like but I mass collect all the series I get more obsessed over.

For tcgs, I obviously mass deck without knowing (for himitsu.) But for colors, I try not to mass deck, and failed. (I have a partial Prince of Tennis, Kuroko no Basuke, Katekyo Hitman Reborn and Uta no Prince-Sama mass deck... Vocaloids will probably end up as one.)

I don't collect Pokemon or Yugioh cards because I end up losing them (and my knowledge of what to do is sketchy at best.) Um, I also have a few posters, but I don't buy too much because I need the money for myself. (If anything, I'd collect Utaite CDs because they're awesome, but my Sorairo Muffler After Rain Quest CD is not available.) I would only collect CDs, but I used to have plushies of Pokemon; they're all lost somewhere.
