Hey guys! Time for another round from Junpei.

This round's theme is Twitch Plays Pokemon party members! Yeah, it's time for the biggest internet phenomenon of recent weeks. Don't worry, I'll provide more than enough help for people who are not following it.

Do you know what TPP is? It's one of the coolest things on the internet in recent months. For the last two weeks, tens of people have been controlling the same game of Pokemon Red through a chat on a stream avaiable here. As I'm writing this, they're challenging the Elite Four for the nth time, but the creator said that he'll do a similar playthrough with one of Gen 2 games after we win. This entire thing has already spawned its own fandom, inspired tons of fanart and even formed several new religions. It's really something.
Here and here you will find enough information to fill the crossword with ease.

Use te clues to find out which Pokemon you need. If the Pokemon has an official, in-game nickname given, use it (without special characters). If it has none, just use the species name. Nevermind if the letters are capital or not. Also, you do not have to use any fan-made nicknames (like 'Bird Jesus' or 'Jay Leno').

Across
2A. The first Pokemon obtained by Red on his quest, who got him through the first three gyms. Unfortunately couldn't reach its full power because it was accidentally released.
3A. One of more hated Pokemon due to its Dig move, which was often used at the worst possible moment. Lost forever during the events of Bloody Sunday.
4A. Only Pokemon obtained by Red through a trade so far. Managed to get him through the most ruthless of trees, also won a Leer staredown against a Marowak. Lost forever during the events of Bloody Sunday.
5. The Pokemon often blamed for every possible misfortune that happened to Red so far. Called the Prophet of the evil Dome Fossil. After being evolved by an evolution stone, it was stored in PC and released.
6. First Pokemon ever to be released by Red, but certainly not the last. Got a fan nickname based on a popular comedian.
7. A bug-type Pokemon caught in the Safari Zone, which later joined the main party. Received a fan nickname after a popular type of vechicle.
8. Red's main means of transportation during water parts of the game. Obtained from a Silph Co. employee. Still the lowest leveled member of the main party.
9. A Pokemon worshipped by most of TPP fandom as a god. The reason for it is that the fossil from which it was resurrected was the most often selected item during battles.

Down
1. One of first Pokemon caught by Red, often considered a 'savior' due to countless battles won single-handedly. Despite a terrible movepool, its high level allows it to defeat most opponents with ease.
2D. The only legendary Pokemon caught by Red so far, with the help of Master Ball. The powerhouse of the party. The first attempt to retreive it from the PC resulted in 12 casualties.
3D. A Pokemon caught in the Safari Zone and later evolved with the use of a Moon Stone. Defeated many opponents in the Cinnabar Mansion with its Surf attack. Its name is very simple to spell.
4D. A Pokemon who was supposed to be Red's main weapon against the hordes of Ghost-types in Lavender Tower. Learned the powerful Psychic attack, but exchanged it for Headbutt very soon afterwards. Said to have powers of keeping the evil sealed inside a PC.
