. . . oh. That's not what I meant to say at all, was it? The theme of today is repaying kindness.* What are some characters who make sure to give as good as they got? A student who finally repaid his teacher for the lessons learned. Or an old friend who looked after a mentor's child, furthering their old mentor's spirit and wishes for the future.

In exchange for sharing about a character's overwhelming generosity you can take one choice card of a kind character (does not have to be the character you talk about!) and then also one choice card of a character from the same series. (Basically 2 choice cards from the same series but NOT the same character deck!)

OKAY. So let me talk about From the New World's Satoru. He's your usual boy type in that he likes to tease people and make up stories and is generally a lot of fun. But as much as I love Saki her story-arc is more self-absorbed. She wants to find out about her memories despite the costs and while Satoru wants to help her he also stands by the others. He's a stable friend who has his life fucked over when they murder his boyfriend. And like Saki he is never able to move on. But despite that he tries to help her more than him and puts her first (the realization of their friends being murdered by queer rats long ago was pretty fresh for both of them but he focused on her.) He's just a really good friend and sticks by them no matter what :>
