Advent Calendar Day 19

Hi again, playerbase of Colors. The big day's approaching quickly and I figure it's a good time to do another little thing get into a festive mood. Those who were around for the latest Colors League may remember this topic, which was pretty much sheer enjoyment to read. But since we've gotten a ton of wonderful new players since then and 'tis the season to be merry and all that, let's have a round 2, shall we? Therefore, today's Advent Calendar is fairly straightforward. Tell a good memory of yours about someone from Colors. At least one, but there's certainly no max limit, it's all about spreading good mood around. It can be anyone, your best friend, your RP friend, someone you don't know but would like to know better, a complete unknown who did something nice, anything goes.

Or, if you don't have good memories of the rest of the playerbase for any reason or just don't feel like sharing, tell us a bit about what you think of events like these that get the playerbase to socialize at least a bit more. Do you like to find out more about the other players? Do you prefer to minimize interaction and say no more than is necessary? Would you like to have a more social element in our games in general? Or maybe less socializing? No opinion one way or the other? Something entirely else? Whatever your answer may be, it's a fine alternative. (of course anyone who shares their stories is welcome to say their opinion about this, too)

Everyone that helped me master the Hod deck in less than a week after its release! Van Grants is my favorite character of all time and Gargant roped me into joining colors by telling me that a Van deck was going to be released soon. (What can I say? I'm easy!) What made it really special was the fact that people I didn't even know ended up tossing a card my way, simply because they heard I was collecting the deck.

It was sort of my introduction to colors, and it made a good impression of me. Everyone here has been incredibly nice. It's awesome. :>

tbh I think everyone knew you as "that Van Grants person" at that point, haha. But yeah, just goes to show Colors has quite a lot of helpful people. It's a nice community. ♥
