My favourite gifts have always been video game consoles! Getting a Wii stands out, because it was seemingly sold out everywhere at the time and I didn't think my mom could afford one, but I still got it. It wasn't the year it was released, though, because I also got Super Paper Mario (came out after), which is now one of my favourite games.

Oh! Another nice gift from my mom was this really pretty buttoned sweater that I once walked past in a mall and said I liked. She told me she bought it a little while after when she gave it to me as a gift many months later.
