Day 4: Gift-Giving Puzzle

Some of the residents of Colors Universe have decided to sneak a few early gifts to their friends! Too bad Shirocchi and Kurocchi saw everything and are more than willing to give away their secrets... in a little game.


The Puzzle
Four residents of Colors Universe (Mikan-tan, Aoi-sama, Midorin, Tobi-han) have given four other residents of Colors Universe (Akai-san, Kou-kun, Murasaki-dono, Gin-sensei) a specially patterned (striped, spotted, plaid, paisley) present as an early thank you! Can you figure out who gave which present to who from the clues Shirocchi and Kurocchi give you?

The Clues
1. Aoi-sama gave a gift to someone whose color comes before his in the Colors rainbow.*
2. Midorin gave the plaid gift to someone whose color comes before hers in the Colors rainbow.*
3. Tobi-han did not give a paisley gift.
4. Murasaki-dono did not receive a spotted or plaid gift.
5. The person who received the spotted gift was not Akai-san.
6. Gin-sensei received the paisley gift.
7. Mikan-tan did not give her gift to Murasaki-dono.

* As a note, the Colors rainbow for this logic puzzle follows this order:
Red - Orange - Yellow - Green - Blue - Purple - Brown - Gray
